"This is a follow up review. It is not very often that a small business owner takes customer satisfaction as seriously as Drew and Jessica. When we had some issues with the older less reliable lighting programing software, Drew upgraded us at the cost of the new hardware and did not charge us a cent for the labor involved. The new Lutron system has been exceptional and it is helping us both, Envision and my budget, save money since it is rock solid. Envison Outdoor Lighting understands what real customer satisfaction means and I totally, unequivocally, recommend them for ANY installation in Central NJ and Eastern PA !!!. They are trustworthy, fair and honest and represent all that can be right with small business entrepreneurs in the U.S. in 2025! John DeBlase / Retired Global Customer Support Manager / Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies. I do know a thing or two about Customer Satisfaction !!!"

"First, we had several very different kinds of projects. We had Wes install ceiling fans with lights in the kids' rooms; he added high hats to the vaulted ceiling in the family room, and then I had him put uplights on the house and some trees (so landscape lighting). Wes is both an electrician and a general contractor, so this is very helpful when it comes to patching and painting. We scheduled a date and he arrived on that date; the work was completed very fast and we have no complaints- just smiles. I'm always a little dubious about hiring people "sight unseen" but Wes was really good; pricing seemed fair."

Lighting questions, answered by experts

If you’ve gone through the troubleshooting checklist for your motion detector flood light and it’s still not working, it’s time to consider a new one. Older models that need frequent fixes can be unreliable. Newer flood lights feature advanced technology that improves your lights’ sensitivity and overall performance. If you’re fed up with unexpected darkness, investing in a new light can give you the lighting you need to feel secure.

The easiest and best way to power your outdoor lights is with the use of outdoor outlets. Most building codes now require exterior outlets in homes, so you likely already have outdoor outlets available to plug into. However, you can have these outlets installed if your space doesn’t currently include them.

Replacing a pool light costs about $625 per light. If you only need to replace the light bulb, plan on paying about $20 to $100 per light. The largest cost factors include the type of pool light, the number of pool lights needed, and the labor costs in your location. But additional cost factors include work required on existing wiring, other repairs, and the continual maintenance needed to keep your pool light in good working condition after installation.

If you take home a pre-lit Christmas tree but want to spruce it up with blinking lights, don’t worry, there’s a simple solution. You can easily replace the light bulbs on the pre-lit tree with flashing bulbs. For a more subtle look, only replace some of the bulbs with flashing bulbs.

Yes, animals can trigger motion-sensor lights. In fact, this is a reason why some homeowners install motion-sensor lights, to catch sneaky little critters looking through the rubbish for a midnight snack. There are sensitivities to animal detection though, so you may want to look for an option that avoids animal detection as much as possible.
