After work was done he asked for 400$!! When I asked why, he started to bully me, moved big heavy card on our parking lot, then asked for 500$ , and my credit card number. He also was threatening me that he will come back and brake my gutters! Scam! Awful services, not professional at all."

Spring and fall tend to be the best times of the year to clean gutters. Fall is when all of the leaves drop into your gutters, so you'll want to clear that out to prevent clogs from becoming worse. Once spring comes, you'll also want to make sure that your gutters are clear of debris for in preparation for rainfall.

Clean your gutters at least twice a year if you don't have any trees near your home. If you have many large trees or pine trees, then you'll want to clean your gutters every three to four months.

It is not recommended to clean gutters, or do any work on your roof for that matter, without the use of a ladder. Please make sure you have a spotter and avoid slippery surfaces when performing this task.

Micro mesh gutter guards are an effective way to keep tiny pieces of debris from entering your gutters while allowing rainwater to flow through. When professionally installed, they can keep most debris out, are extremely durable, and can last for years.

If you want to replace your home's existing underground downspout, you have options. One is to connect a rain barrel to the downspout. During a storm, water travels from the downspout into the barrel. You can then use the water to irrigate your garden or lawn. 

Another option is to install a downspout extension above ground. The extension will direct water away from your home, but potentially not as far away as an underground system.

Pressure washing isn’t the only way to clean your gutters. Use a hose and a long-handled brush if you aren’t afraid of a little elbow grease. Alternatively, set up a stable ladder and scrub by hand with a brush. It’s also possible to purchase gutter wand extensions for hoses or a gutter vacuum if you don’t mind the investment. These help clean thoroughly without you having to scale a ladder.
