Now the A/C service was excellent but the plumbing cost to replace two spigots which took no more than an hour cost 740.00. I'd recommend comfort solutions for heating and cooling. Plumbing service is way above the high range cost for services in our area."

"We had four area companies evaluate and quote the replacement of a gas floor furnace for our mill house. We have been very happy with the performance and lack of blower noise for the furnace, but it is difficult to find a company that still handles them. We got everything from "the city is going to condemn your house unless you do this or that, and you'll need to find another additional contractor to handle some of the work" to "we can't do the job without a large outlay to meet city codes". We were fortunate to contact Dave at AccuAir and he was both familiar with the furnace and was way ahead of the game on how to install the unit to pass the building codes. The team from AccuAir was extremely professional, personable, fast, and neat. The quote was ideal for our budget and the installation passed city inspection without a hitch. It was so great to deal with a company that knew what they were doing, weren't trying to upsell you into something expensive, and did not use scare tactics. Although linear drains allow water to flow quickly and efficiently, they tend to clog more easily than traditional drains. Linear drains are flush with the shower floor, allowing soap scum and hair to potentially build up. They’re also longer than other drains, allowing for more space to let debris fall into the drainpipe. 

When you put baking soda and vinegar down the drain, they chemically react and help break down clogs. It’s not going to work for every type of clog, however. For example, it’s not the best way to get rid of grease buildup. For grease, you should try boiling water and white vinegar instead.

Pouring drain cleaner down a vent pipe isn’t recommended. First of all, unlike a clog in a sink or bath caused by such material as soap scum build-up, toothpaste, and hair, clogs in a vent pipe are likely the result of debris from trees or even an animal stuck in the pipe. Drain cleaners won’t be able to eat through this kind of material. The cleaner will only become clogged in the vent with the debris, causing even more problems.

You can often unclog a garbage disposal in less than 10 minutes, though sometimes you might need longer if you’re unsure what’s causing the clog. For minor clogs, consider plunging the drain, flushing the drain with baking soda and vinegar, or using an Allen wrench to free the clog. If the clog is more severe, contact a local plumber.

Depending on the amount of hair you’ve got in the drain, the baking soda and vinegar method can help break it down. If that doesn’t work, you can try using a drain snake. If you don’t have a snake handy, you can straighten out a wire hanger and use pliers to fish out the clog.
