"Really professional guy gave estimate and set the guys up for the first day on the job. Price was negotiable and seemed to be dependent on whether the company had other jobs for their guys to work on. The 2 guys who did the job were Hispanic, and I had some trouble communicating with them while they were on the job. It took them quite awhile to actually complete it, but I think the results and price were very good. I wish they could have worked a little more efficiently- showed up kind of late each morning, took long lunch breaks, then left around 5:00. So the whole project took about 2.5 days when I was expecting 1.5.
I am a perfectionist, and I did have to be assertive and point out any places where I felt needed work. They made some mistakes in a few places, but nothing egregious. The guys were willing to accommodate where I had issues.

"The term "artistry" aptly describes the quality of the work performed by Jud Wheeler and his son, Luke.  Their preparation work was meticulous.  Before they could paint, they had to do a lot of patching and re-plastering in our bedroom ceiling.  They also patched a bookcase and rebuilt a baseboard with wood putty where our puppy had gnawed on it.  The cosmetic results are excellent.
 We had high expectations for Artistry, and they delivered.  From the moment Jud arrived to give an initial estimate, he carefully reviewed the rooms, examined the woodwork and wall condition, and engaged in a highly interactive discussion about our interests and options.  His detailed estimate came back reflecting all our discussion points.  It was clear that he understood our plans and intentions from the outset.
 Jud and Luke spent the better part of 8 days doing our project.  Much of this time was spent doing prep work, stripping the old wallpaper, then applying two coats of oil-base paint to the extensive amount of woodwork involved in this project (corner cabinets, bookcase, chair rail, baseboards, and decorative molding).  The wallpapering was performed so swiftly and with such precision, it seemed like magic!

"It went great. He called with an opening very soon after I told him to go ahead. They sanded the damaged portion and then stained the entire door and side panels. The next day they came back to put on a clear coat, then returned a third time for a second coat. It looks brand new; I really was amazed. After he finished, I realized he had painted a couple hallways a few years ago. I was quite pleased with that as well."

"I was a little bit disappointed. He came out, looked at the house and estimated he would need about 6 gallons of paint. I went and purchased 6 gallons of paint. A few days later, his workers showed up. They painted the areas that I asked Mr. Vargas to paint. They skipped one area at the top of the gable in the house. It has an awning in front of the window. I expected them to either ask me to remove the awning, remove it themselves or paint around it. Instead, they left that part unpainted completely. They painted up to the side as they could without removing the awning. They stopped and left that part unpainted. They finished up, packed up and left. There was a minor additional cost."

"I called Jesus on Friday and asked if he would come to Grove and give us a quote to lay out flooring. He was there the next morning- wow talk about responsive! Once we were ready, he was able to get to our house the next week! The work was done extremely well. We had remodeled and didn’t want our freshly painted trim removed to lay the floor. No problem for Jesus and his team, there wasn’t even a scratch on the base boards. I highly recommend Jesus if you need great service and follow up.
