"Dan Powers. Mark came out and was very kind and very thorough. He took his time and located the problem. and said that if it was to cause us any more problems, to call, and he would come take another look. There was water coming up through the floor in the bedroom.  I contacted Buddy's Plumbing and they were able to come out and investigate within a couple of hours.  The leak was located in the bedroom wall.  The section of split pipe was replaced.  I was extremely pleased with the work.  The repairmen were very careful not to displace anything, repaired the leak quickly, and cleaned the area well before leaving.  I will definately use Buddy's again as well as recommend them to my friends."

French drains may fail when they become clogged with soil granules that slip through the pores of the landscaping fabric and through the holes in the pipe. 

Over time, this debris can build up inside the pipe and prevent water flow. To prevent this failure from happening, regularly flush out your French drain and keep debris away from the inlet grate.

If your drain doesn’t have metal crosshairs or crossbars, you should use a tub drain extractor. These tools create a grip on the drain so you can turn it using a 1/2-inch ratchet drive, drain key, or wrench. Your drain may not have crosshairs if it's old and broken.

With a one-way cleanout, you can access your sewer line from one direction. Depending on the way it curves, a plumber can either access the side of the pipe that goes into your home or the side that goes to your yard. On the other hand, two-way cleanouts allow pros to access both sides of the sewer line, thanks to their dual-pipe design (they’re usually U-shaped).
