"I will never hire any other company! My roof has been in dire need of a replacement. It needed three layers of shingles removed along with new decking. The crew was all about making sure the job wasn’t rushed and was as perfect as it could be. My roof was a unique job for sure and the crew finished it in only 2.5 days. They cleaned up everything, left no trace and fixed things that I didn’t even know needed to be fixed. Everyone was extremely kind and took amazing care of us and our home. With the new roof and fixed up trim my place looks brand new. Forever grateful and without a doubt, the best there is!"

"I was very happy with the initial new gutter installation. Also had a section of the gutters rehabbed and recently had a problem with the rehabbed section. The service advisor refused to send someone out to address the problem. I am a little disappointed with them at this point."

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

Downspouts channel water from your roof and gutters into the ground following a specific route so water doesn’t accumulate around your house’s foundation. Without a downspout, the standing water will wash away material and disrupt the soil, leading to foundation erosion. The standing water will also form ice around your house during cold weather, causing a safety hazard.

Gutter repair costs around $400 on average, and prices range from $200 up to $650 in most cases. You can expect to pay between $4 and $30 per linear foot. The best way to get an accurate estimate is to have a professional come out to price your project. Some factors that influence your total include the following:

  • Number of linear feet of gutter to repair

  • Gutter style

  • Gutter material

  • Accessibility of the gutters

  • Whether you have seamless or seamed gutters

  • Type of necessary repairs

The gutter gauge is a measurement of the thickness of the gutter material. If you have gutters that are too thick and heavy for the screws and brackets holding them in place, they may sag. Materials that are too thin could suffer damage that leads to sagging. A professional gutter installer can ensure you have the right gutter gauge.

The duration of a repair job can range from a few hours to several days. Simpler issues may take 1-4 hours, while more complex work or extensive damage could take 1-3 days. The final timeline depends on the complexity of the problem, the extent of the damage, and the location of the work.

Sagging gutters stress your downspout, so have your gutters fixed before you secure your downspout.
