"My computer (Windows XP) was running very slow and had become almost inoperable. It was taking a very long time to process anything, especially anything to do with the internet. IE was taking 100% of the cpu most of the time. Jim worked on my computer remotely for several days defragging, cleaning, anti-virus, malware, etc., but could not get it to perform anywhere near where it should. We decided that I needed a new computer. Jim built me a new computer (Windows 7 with racing stripes). The new system works very well and I am pleased with it. When Jim switched my files over from old to new, the Kodak Easy-Share program with my pictures did not get transferred. He has promised to make that transfer when he installs a new door covering the DVD reader which was broken upon setup. I will update this review when this occurs. I am very pleased with the new system and would do it all over again if a similar situation were present. "
"Sales process was good, courteous and helpful. Installation instructions were easy to follow. Did have a small issue with one sensor which was easily solved with a call. Control panel is easy to use and well constructed. Phone app is the best part. Not a big fan of a 2 year contract and the monthly rate feels a little high, but definitely a decent system. I had emailed them a question pertaining installing on double hung windows and never received a reply, but other than that their phone support prior to that was good."
"I was absolutely dreading the roof replacement process. Everything I read said to get at least 3 estimates. I called the Top 3 on Angie's List. The other 2 companies were really great. But from the moment I met Dave (David Rodriguez) they didn't have a chance. I expected the salesman schmooz. Dave is real. Starting with him talking me through the entire process. He thought of every single detail no matter how small. Including suggesting my dogs stay at a friends so they wouldn't be freaked out by all the noise. He even called an electrician to do some electrical work for me (who was also very good!) He expertly dealt with my insurance company. My insurance company initially sent me a very small amount. Dave went through and pointed out errors and stayed after them till I got more money from them (they ended up cutting me two more checks). I have been promised the world from different contractors, always to end up slightly disappointed. With Air Roofing every single detail that was promised me, was delivered. Literally Everything!! Dave is amazing! His crew is great! Hard working and professional. Every nail and all debris was cleaned up. I have a small home but I was treated like I was his top client! If you have roofing needs, make One call to--Air Roofing--Dave Rodriguez will not disappoint! 5 star all the way! I just wish he did windows and floors. I am one happy customer. "
"The claim process was so smooth. We submitted the claim for each service online and we got response Email with the appointment time and mechanic detail. The technicians showed up within the appointment window and did a good job. We are overall happy with the Choice warranty for the price and value."

"Somehow our perception of right of the window didnt line up as we were looking at 2 different windows and downspout was not put where I wanted it. When Brad called after job was done I told him that the downspout was not where I wanted it and he corrected the misunderstanding and I am very pleased with the job. It was a pleasure working with Brad. "

"Over the years we feel like we have gotten value from this service, however, there are constraints on that value. They have replaced dishwashers and air conditioners etc. for us when ours have died. They replace one for one - equal quality for equal quality. We have been allowed to upgrade (by paying the difference) to better replacements and then they have covered those new replacements. All in all, it has worked for us. Here is why they don't get a better rating from us. They obviously negotiate deals with repair/replacement providers which means you are not high priority for these providers which is reflected in their responsiveness to your needs. This past few years, it appears like they are far more reluctant to replace equipment. As an example we have two 18 year old air conditioners that break down at least twice a season. For the past three seasons it seems as if they have practically rebuilt the things vs. just declaring them dead. Each time there is a service call, we pay $75 so it has begun to add up. Today, (Saturday) our hot water heater began delivering rusty water and when we checked it, we saw that it has apparently been leaking for awhile and so is likely close to bursting. In my mind this is an emergency. AHS (who heard the whole story0 called a company which called me right a way but the earliest they could get someone out was Tuesday. This is the absolute maximum time window in our AHS agreement (48 hours - business days). It didn't matter that between now and then we could have 60 gallons of water flood our house. I called AHS and asked for another provider. They first suggested that we shut the water to the house off (really?) but they did contact another, who did not bother to call back (they were open at the time of contact). My husband and I went to Angie's List and called one of the A rated companies. Long story short is they were here within an hour and we will have a new hot water heater today. "
Contrary to popular belief, wavy glass in older homes isn't caused by warping. The blowing technique used to create windows in homes dating back to the 1700s, 1800s, and early 1900s left behind small bubbles that create a wavy effect. If a glass window is functional, there's no need to consider wavy glass damaged. In fact, many homeowners prefer the old charm of wavy glass.
Yes. Vinyl windows have a PVC frame that wraps around a glass panel that is usually made up of two thinner glass panels separated by an insulating, noise-absorbing airspace. Some vinyl windows are triple-glazed, with three insulating air panels within them. This glass helps keep your interior quiet from outside noise while its insulating qualities help your space stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

No, it isn’t necessary to have energy-efficient windows. However, if you care about your energy bill and making your windows more energy efficient, fixing any heat, UV, or air transfer issues is an excellent way to lower your bills and keep your house cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
In most cases, it's worth it to install hurricane windows—especially if you live in an area prone to hurricanes and storms. Hurricane windows not only protect your windows from breaking but also protect the interior of your home from storm damage while also potentially reducing your homeowner's insurance premium. On top of that, hurricane windows have an ROI of 80% to 85%.
