"Provider showed up on time even on icy roads. He was courteous and efficient - going to work right away. The job, albeit not large, took only 4 hours and included covering all furniture and taping off all trim. His work was outstanding. I would not hesitate to use Tulsa Christian Bros again - they provide an amazing value in home painting!

"Very professional. Derrick and his crew did an amazing job with my fencing project. Derrick has had experience owning and training horses and understands the type of fencing needed to safely secure those animals. He and his crew are honest friendly people who are pleasant to work with."

"I am extremely Picky, I would hire them again gladly! I was very honest with the owner who called me from Circle T Welding & Fabrication in the fact I needed project yesterday. I was not overcharged and even though the owners wife was having a baby he had his employees here within 36 hours. I am also overone hour drive from them in a semi remote area. The crew was the most professional I have seen in my life! (I am knocking on 60) I got way more than I expected in Quality work and Quality Materials! Also bear in mind this was a job site Circle T Welding &Fabrication had not even seen a picture of much less looked at! The crew worked in Drizzly Windy Wet conditions with temp barely 40, on SAT & SUN! I wish everybody was like this company, world would be much better! THANK YOU GUYS! Congrats on baby too!"

Awnings questions, answered by experts

On average, awning costs range from $1,400 to $4,400. The low end of the cost range can be around $100 up to $7,500 on the high end. Cost factors include the type of awning, size, and location. Portable awnings are the most affordable and DIY-friendly to install, costing $100 to $400. Larger, motorized awnings tend to be more solidly built, ranging in price from $2,000 to $3,500.

Costs range from $1,000 to $5,000, depending on size, material, and design complexity.

It’s not a good idea to allow heavy rain to fall on your awning, as puddling can occur and overload the awning. Your awning should be able to handle a light rain, though you should allow it to dry out before retracting it or open it to dry as soon as the rain stops. As always, consult manufacturer guidelines for using and caring for your awning.

Regular cleaning, inspecting for wear, and retracting during storms extend its lifespan.

It’s best to keep your awning retracted if winds are 25 miles per hour or more to make sure your awning doesn’t sustain irreparable damage due to wind. Some awnings can take winds up to 30 miles per hour without any damage, but it’s best to consult the manufacturer’s guidance. A good rule of thumb is if it’s too windy for you to comfortably stand outside, it’s time to bring the awning in.
