My dog is about 7lbs, how in the heck does a dog that small bite anyone 6 times. Plus, my dog never bit anyone before. I get there, she's covered in blood, she looks hungover honestly, my dog that supposedly bit her is hiding under the tub. Then she goes on to say how she hates these m************ dogs, again, using her words, who only come and get groomed sometimes. She makes me pay $40 bucks for Peanut, she didn't even finish him, but when I get there, she's grooming Buddy, my Yorkie, getting blood all over him!!! I just wanted to leave, Buddy is blood drenched, thank goodness for the towel in my Explorer, I definitely would take my dogs there again, nor will I recommend this horrible place!!! She looked like she was drunk or on drugs, I'm not sure, I don't do drugs and I'm not an alcoholic...I am going to groom them myself from no on. He called me that day and asked me how urgent was it (meaning did we have gas and sewer) and I told him that our pool company's plumber had temporarily patched for us so was just needing the digging of the new trench and moving of the two lines. Ron came out to see us that weekend (on Saturday if I recall) as we had company in town that week and didn't want to deal with it until the weekend. He was a very professional person and seemed like a nice enough guy. He reviewed the project and asked if he could call me back with a quote as he needed to check what it was going to take from his side to dig the large trench required for the project. To his credit, he called me back within a couple of hours and provided me a proposal that was well in line with the others we had gotten. He was willing to come out that Monday morning and get it fixed for me. I would have used him for the project, but my builder agreed with me to cover the cost of the move if we used his plumber ( I am sure he made the plumber absorb it as it was their fault in the first place). I told Ron how I was handling and he wished me luck on the project. I would definitely use him if I needed a plumber. Nice guy, who knows what he's talking about and doesn't put the high pressure sale on you like many did. The guys showed up a little late but were very efficient at getting our things loaded up (once they started)-- outside of a pool table, which we told the office we had when we booked. "No problem" we were told. When the guys arrived we were told "problem" and that they wouldn't do it. The office tried to force them too, but they made a good point that they were not trained to, and the office wouldn't cover damages to something that they weren't trained to do if we had a problem. The main guy at this point was arguing on the phone with headquarters, rather loudly, on our front lawn, (Not what you want to hear when you have to be out of the house by the weekend and it's Friday), and was threatening to turn around and head back to Tulsa without packing us up. Eventually my husband called a guy an hour away (who was unable to come on such short notice) and he had to walk my husband through disassembling the pool table. Everything was eventually loaded and we all headed to Tulsa. The guys were at our house unloading until Midnight (they had already driven nearly 9 hours at this point and loaded a 4 bedroom home and then unloaded with a steep set of stairs). They said they had to head to another job in the morning. We had 2 minor things broken, which I did not ask them to fix. My main issue was with the communication between management and the workers. I felt bad for the guys doing our job, but at the same time didn't need that stress, but I can understand having to put your foot down. It really seemed like a management issue, which honestly, makes me more leery to use them in the future. He did the mirror first (which I should have learned from) and tried to hang it on a small hook, which it tore out of our wall and almost shattered (damaged the bottom). We still have a mark in our wall from where it pulled out. He then was doing the Wine Cellar and Front Door projects together. I'll cover the wine cellar first. On the wine cellar, I provided very detailed architectural plans for how to layout the cellar and specific dimensions for the racks so that the bottles would fit. My brother is a commercial architect so had him review my take-off and he checked and tweaked so it was accurate. Chris provided a quote for me based on the drawing. Chris showed up on Day 1 to work on the cellar and struggled from the start. It was obvious he had never done anything on this scale. His attention to detail was pitiful and he laid out the racking incorrectly (too narrow so that bottles would not fit). After much discussion, he agreed that he hadn't followed the plans and guessed on a few dimensions. He adjusted the racking so that it would fit bottles, but then ended up being too wide so bottles would lay over on the sides. They were supposed to be stained wood and he simply painted them. While working on this he started working on our Stained Front Doors (custom-10' tall) that he was supposed to re-stain as they had faded over the years. He over-sanded them taking the original stain off and damaged both doors so it had to be filled with wood filler (never looked right). He didn't really know stains and had serious issues trying to get the stain to take. I went out of the country for work (with my wife overseeing the project). He couldn't get the stain to work, so he painted our front doors! My wife told him that she was not happy with either project, which had now take over 1.5 weeks to get to this point and we had closet with an unusable wine rack and a $7K custom front door that had been painted. My wife told him she was not happy with the project and he would need to make it right (especially the front door). He threatened her that she had better give him his money or he would not leave (which happened at night). She had to threaten to call the police to get him out of our house. I was not pleased remotely and forbid him to set foot on our property. I have no respect for someone who would threaten women. We have since filed against him with BBB, which upheld our claim. As a final note, we had our front stained this month (as the paint was falling off) and the person painting it asked us if we did it ourselves because it was done with indoor paint...shocker...he couldn't even get the paint right. We end up removing the wine rack and having it put in by a professional so at this point the damage is undone, but would never want someone to go through what we did with him.

They did not actually start the work until 2 months after they were scheduled to. They were supposed to install a front door. They messed up 2 doors before getting one installed correctly. There was also a gap under the front door to where you could see outside. They workers they sent were not licensed or bonded. They also had a teenager performing some of the work which I also did not feel comfortable with. When installing soffits, they wired the lights incorrectly. Water would leak into the patio room when it rained. They did not clean up well and left nails everywhere. The workmanship and quality were horrible. There were pieces of siding falling down that we had to put back up. I would not recommend this company to anybody."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/waxahachie/southwest-home-improvements-reviews-2020370.htm"},"position":5}]}

FAQs for patio cover service projects in Altus, OK
While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
The cost of an awning is $1,400 to $4,400 on average. However, this cost could be as low as $100 or as high as $7,500, depending on a few factors. The type of awning you choose, the size you need, and your location all affect your overall cost.
For example, portable awnings you can put up and take down yourself range from $100 to $400, whereas motorized awnings are more luxurious and cost between $2,000 and $3,500.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
Awnings are either fixed or retractable and can be paired with a variety of cover materials. Fixed awnings are a permanent outdoor feature of a building. These are highly durable and require ongoing maintenance. Once installed, the position of this awning cannot be changed.
Retractable awnings are more popular than fixed awnings since the cover can open and close. This allows homeowners to open and close the awning, depending on the weather. When not in use, it can be closed to allow for extra space.
Besides the type of awning, you’ll need to choose the type of cover. Your awning installation professional will review your options with you, including availability and costs. The types of covers you can choose from include:
Wood, which is durable but can be damaged easily by rainwater and fire
Cotton offers flexibility, weatherproofing, and easy cleaning
Canvas is highly durable and is a good choice for retractable awnings
Metal is sturdy but is prone to rust
Polyester is easy to clean and is a more breathable option
Polycarbonate is highly resistant to UV rays and is difficult to damage
