"It went very well! Tim came to the apartment and looked at the issue. He told me that he will place the order for the new and more efficient unit than the old boiler and install asap. "Dennis Hughes is NOT a licensed contractor in Allen County. We could never get him to show proof of insurance or bonding. I hope that this review will prevent someone from hiring this company. We hired him to redo a patio roof. The flashing around the utilities pipe was improperly done. The roofing was installed backwards and lacked the proper amount of nails. It was not connected to the house properly. The gutter was installed so that it was useless and prevented windows from opening. We tried to get him to correct the work but he always had some excuse for not doing the work. He was rude and combative and refused to bring his paperwork to prove he was licensed and insured. He yelled at me and my brother as we tried to help my mother resolve this issue. We finally had to hire someone else to completely redo it. I wish that the address for this work would not be revealed to Dennis."

"We've been fighting an uphill battle trying to save this original, vintage depression-era sink. The company that manufactured it went out of business in the 1950s, and finding replacement parts has been a lost cause. We called 4 Star, and when Frank arrived and evaluated the situation, he gave it a top notch temporary fix, then told us where we might be able to find some new old stock faucets and trim to fit it. Sure enough...Frank was right. We ordered in the materials, and Frank took it from there, saving a sink that was originally manufactured and installed during the FDR Administration. It hasn't looked this good and worked this well since the boys came back from the Pacific Theater!"

You could be smelling sewer gas in your kitchen because of a dry P-trap, clogged vent pipe, or leaking plumbing seals. If you smell a rotten egg odor, check your sink’s P-trap and plumbing connections first. A clogged or damaged vent pipe can trap sewer gas and push it back into your kitchen through the plumbing pipes. Loose or deteriorated seals around drainpipes can also allow sewer gas to leak out. An active cleaning agent and a drain snake is the best way to clean a main sewer line. You can purchase a regular or enzyme drain cleaner or make a DIY drain cleaner with baking soda. Use your chosen solution at least once a month or as needed to keep your sewer line clear.
