"Very thorough, on time and addressed a concern in person the same day. They removed the dead grass turned up the soil and added fresh soil and lots of grass seed covered with a straw blanket after 5 days the grass appeared on the 6th day new grass was much thicker. So far I am very satisfied with the results and this company will be highly recommended."

"Immediate response from Lamont, very professional. Was able to perform work at an earlier date and called to verify if my schedule would allow. Work was excellent, cleaned what was discussed and removed all remnents. I will continue to use this company for all my lawn care needs. Will definitely refer to family and friends. Also this company is Veteran employed and that is huge to me as my family are Veterans. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!!"

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

Technically, dandelions aren’t bad for your lawn, and they don’t directly kill grass. In fact, they appear in areas that are nutrient-deprived, and their long taproots can loosen the soil and bring nutrients closer to the surface.

However, dandelions do spread quickly, and they can take over your lawn, eventually crowding out grass. This is why a healthy lawn is the best defense against dandelions.

Lawns with steep slopes can benefit from having quack grass. Quack grass's long roots and runners can help to prevent soil erosion on hillsides. Additionally, bird lovers may enjoy the fact that quack grass seeds are an attractive food choice for their avian friends.

You should add 1 to 4 inches of mulch, depending on your garden type and needs. Keep in mind that no amount of mulch can completely prevent weeds, but a heavier coverage (closer to 4 inches) can suppress weeds enough that you are only seeing them sprout every few weeks. Finer mulch prevents weeds more effectively than large mulch, so if you’re using mulched leaves or shredded bark, 1 to 2 inches will likely suffice, while 3 to 4 inches is best for larger mulch, like bark chips or straw.

Poison oak is similar to poison ivy in that it's in the same family of plants. Poison oak is identifiable by its rounded-off leaves and hairy leaf texture. Tree-climbing varieties live primarily in western states while low-growing poison oak bushes occupy the eastern states. Treat poison oak like poison ivy to get rid of it permanently.

If you have a lot of tree roots in your yard or have experienced issues in the past, you should use tree root killer every six months to prevent roots from infiltrating your pipes. If you have an active invasion and aren’t seeing results, check the instructions on the bottle to see how often you can use it in a short period of mine.
