"* Fraud Do Not Hire* Hired Dave Blankenship owner of Dave's Construction Design llc to build a retaining wall and do a complete remodeling of a bathroom. Gave us a quote and was paid $7,800 in October 2022 had excuses that we thought were legit and he stayed in contact till March 2023 when he was supposed to show up to start the jobs. Stopped answering calls and text from my husband and myself. He took our money and ran and is posting on social media him out at the bar. Sad you can't trust people anymore. Do not hire this man or his company."

Regularly clean pumps, remove debris, and monitor water levels to prevent algae growth and clogging.

Whether a natural pool is worth it depends on several factors because they cost more than traditional pools. Many people opt for natural pools because they enjoy swimming in natural bodies of water such as lakes. Also, if you're environmentally conscious, a natural pool is going to be a much more attractive option than a traditional pool.

Moreover, for people with chemical sensitivities, a natural pool is a great solution since the water doesn’t contain chlorine.

You have several options for your pond by getting your yard ready for the winter. You can winterize your koi pond by ensuring it’s at least 5 feet deep so it doesn’t freeze completely, installing a pond heater or aerator and having it run at all times, and installing a deicer if temperatures are dangerously low for an extended period. You can also choose to shut down your pond for the winter by removing all the wildlife in it and bringing it indoors, cleaning out the filter and pump, and then covering the pond with a tarp.

One reason you may want to fill in your pond is the cost of maintenance. Pond cleaning may cost about $1,000 for an annual cleanup, or monthly visits may cost $75 to $100 per visit. If you don’t want to spend that much per year on pond upkeep, you may consider filling in your pond.

If you’re drinking the water, you can store it indefinitely as long as you properly treat it and your container doesn’t break down. Without any treatment system, you should only leave rainwater in a rain barrel for up to four weeks. If you’re using the water on your garden or lawn, you can store your water until algae start to grow.
