It went very well. Peter came out to look at what we needed, then provided an estimate. The estimate was higher than what we had budgeted for, so he gave us the option of using a different type of spindle, which made the price more acceptable to us. He is very knowledgeable, not only about the technical aspects of carpentry, but he also has a great artistic sense of what will look nice and be functional. We really like the design that he came up with for our stairs. He came out and did the job as scheduled, and the stairs look great.  We need to wait at least a month before staining the stairs, and when we expressed doubt as to our ability to find the right stain color, he went to the store and found a color number that he thought would work well for us. We are very pleased with his work and his helpfulness, and we recommend him highly.
