"Trying to get my elderly parent's home ready for sale and I live out of state. Found this business on Angie's List and have always had good luck in using this service. I was told that several trees needed to be removed, which I was aware of. In the end one tree was removed but the initial issue was never addressed. I called and sent text message asking if he was coming back to finish up the work. Got no reply. I still have the initial issue to tend with so I feel like my elderly parents were taken advantage of."

Yes, it is possible to add too little mulch. The difference between river rock and landscaping rocks is size, smoothness, and use. River rocks are smooth and flat, as if polished by water, and come in diameters between 1 and 8 inches. Landscape rock can vary in size from small pea gravel installations to car-sized boulders. However, landscaping and river rocks are interchangeable in many situations. River rock is best for pathways, walkways, garden bed mulch, water features, and planting accents, while small landscape rocks can serve as a walkway base, gravel playground areas, and filler between pavers.

First, dig a hole that’s the same depth as the root ball and wide enough for the roots to spread out fully. Before placing the tree in the hole, pour water in to help get rid of any air pockets in the soil.
