I hired Eric on 10/1/19. We have done business in the past and his services were alright. It was a commercial project. He was given 2 months to do the project since we just purchased the building and our opening date wasn't until Dec 16, 2019. He was given the keys and full access to the building so he could install it when he had time. Big mistake on my part. First off he didn't get the heat installed until Dec 16, 2019 OPENING DAY!!! Then he said it was cold and hard to work outside and they would come back to install the AC when it warmed up. Sooooooo, I had to call and text and call and text. He ignored me often and even said he was on a his way a few times. No call, no show. He didn't answer the phone for weeks. Finally, installed the AC on 7/4/2020 after I called flipping out. I cried, screamed and swore. So, he had to miss his 4th of July with his family. I guess he should have planned accordingly. Low and behold the A/C condenser is completely fried as of 7/7/21. I called Able's Heating and Cooling. They looked it over and said it was completely dead. They suspected it failed because of the place Eric installed it on my building. Once again I called Eric. He assured me it was under warranty and he would order it and take care of it. So, he ordered it and had it delivered to Able's Heating and Cooling. Since he lives 2-3 hrs away and didn't want to have to bring it with him. He would just have to pick it up in Coshocton. So, I waited and waited and waited. I called Eric again asking when it's going to be fixed. He said he was waiting on the part. I kept calling and still nothing from Eric. I called Ables myself and asked if they received my part. I spoke with Steve the manager. He said a part did arrive but he had no idea why it came there. He said that Eric did not contact or arrange it with anyone at their company. They returned it because they didn't want some random part they did not order to be billed to their account which it was. I reached out to Eric AGAIN!!!!! He said he called them to straighten it out and they would call him when the part arrived. But he did not do that. I called Ables and asked them what they would charge to exchange the warrantied part. The condenser would be covered so I would have to pay their labor. Their estimate was around $8500 because they would have to rent a lift, labor and refrigerant. I immediately called Eric told him he need to get this taken care of since it's still under warranty and the system has only been installed for a year. Once again he continued to ignore me. Then he finally answered the phone and said he was going to call a company in the area and see if they could do the job for him and he would take care of the expense. He contacted Federal Elite. They came out and took a look. He gave them my contact information not his. Their estimate was $4,570. I sent that to him on November 22, 2021. He was not responded since then.
Description of Work
New furance and AC

heating & air conditioning/hvac, energy audit
This review from a project 3 years ago is unfortunate and only partially true. I initially declined this work due to it being well out of our service area (Coshocton +90 miles and a 2 hour drive), however [Member Name Removed]was a good customer and other contractors had given her pricing that was criminally high. I relented and did the work for her on the condition that it I would be unable to provide service for the installation due to the distance and the work being well out of our service area. When a service issue occured a few years later [Member Name Removed]called another service company, as she was aware the work being out of my service area, the contractor explained that the compressor had failed due to an overlaod at the electrical panel or possibly a nearby lightning strike. I spoke directly with the technician to arrange a possible warranty on the compressor, and went so far as to have a new compressor sent directly to the contractor that [Member Name Removed]hired to do the work. [Member Name Removed]was not happy with the labor charges the contractor was charging her, that is when she called me demanding I perform this service a not charge.
