They took out the old carpet upstairs which revealed an old Lakewood hardwood floor with some rough spots. After John finished the job you would not be able to tell anything was wrong. I am very satisfied with the end result. John was also very easy to work with - I left a lockbox at the house and had complete peace of mind.
