Yes, carpet tiles are easy to install—even if you don’t have much DIY experience. Sometimes, it’s best to avoid putting flooring under cabinets or installing the cabinets first. Installing cabinets on top of the flooring can void the flooring warranty. This can be a costly problem, especially if accidental flooring damage occurs during installation. Also, it’s not a good idea to install cabinets over floating floors, such as laminate, that need room to expand and contract. Finally, avoiding installing flooring under kitchen cabinets is a more budget-friendly option as you will use fewer materials.
