"LeafFilter doesn't clean gutters, they sell and install their LeafFilter Gutter products and only clean the gutters if you buy their product. I can't even begin to afford their product so I wasn't able to get my gutter cleaned by them."

"I used Moseley Masonry & Chimney Sweep to sweep my wood burning insert in November of 2017. I own a Quadra Fire insert that was placed inside of an old prefab Heatilator. They were scheduled to arrive at 4 PM but I got a call from Steve at 2:30 informing me that he was ahead of schedule and he could be there an hour early at 3. Steve arrived at 3 and got straight to work. Before removing the baffle and insulation in the stove he noticed one of my baffles was broken into two pieces. Steve wisely informed me of this so I didn't think it was something that he'd done. While cleaning out the stove and flue, Steve used an industrial size shop vac that to my surprise completely prevented any dust and ash from getting anywhere that it wasn't wanted and my flue was extremely dirty. He also laid down a protective cover on my floor which was greatly appreciated. Now to be honest I expected them to come out run a cleaning rod down my chimney, sweep up the mess inside the stove, and then go on their way. Boy was I wrong. First of all, all the cleaning took place from the stove up. I guess I've seen Mary Poppins too much. And second, not only did he clean my chimney he also cleaned the entire stove inside and out, went up on the roof to inspect the exterior, and cleaned the glass on the stove door. I was extremely pleased with the work that was provided to me and I will definitely be calling Moseley Masonry & Chimney sweep the next time I need my wood burning insert serviced."

Customers say: Quick response

"Jt Handyman is a great company. I needed some electrical outlets installed quickly and a window painted as will. Josh and his assistant were able to complete the task in less than a day. They are dependable and honest and they leave everything as clean or better than when they came. The work is perfectly done and looks great !"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Use of harnesses and ladders ensures safe roof access.

Yes, using an oven cleaner is a great alternative for cleaning your stovetop. Remove any grates and then spray the surface down. Allow the cleaner to sit for about 20 minutes, and then scrub it clean with a damp non-abrasive sponge. Dry and polish it off using a dry microfiber towel, and you’re done.

Service costs depend on project size and complexity, service scope, and any tough task specifics encountered.

Not cleaning your house on a regular basis can lead to elevated allergen levels, pest problems, mold growth, damaged belongings, and parts of your home falling into disrepair. Consistent cleaning prevents problems that can lead to illness and ensures you’re aware of the condition of everything in your home so you can maintain and repair things as needed.

While a biohazard cleanup sounds like a scary process, knowing what to expect can help ease your concerns and set you up for success. It’s good to note that more than one professional might be needed depending on your situation, but that will be determined during the assessment. What you can expect during a home biohazard cleanup is the following:

  • Assessment: The first step in this process is for a biohazard cleanup professional to assess the damage. They create a report that includes the biohazard safety level, the needed damage cleanup, and the time it should take to complete the project.

  • Setup: The cleanup professional prepares the site to prevent cross-contamination and reduce toxicity risk. This process can include tarping and creating decontamination zones.

  • Removal of surface contamination: Any contaminated materials are removed from the area, starting with large materials followed by small ones. The professional can assess any floor-related damage once everything is removed from the site.

  • Salvaging items: The biohazard cleanup professionals assess which items can be saved and which are contaminated beyond the point of saving. Those deemed unsafe will be disposed of immediately.

  • Waste disposal: The next step is carefully disposing of the hazardous waste. Your professional will place the contaminated items in specific containers to keep the contamination from spreading.

  • Disinfection: The house will be disinfected and odor-neutralized. Even more minor details, like light switches and bulbs, will be disinfected so that they do not recontaminate the area in the future.

  • Restoration: Once the decontamination is complete, the last step is to restore the home. This includes repairing the damage to flooring, walls, or even the home's foundation.
