"LeafFilter doesn't clean gutters, they sell and install their LeafFilter Gutter products and only clean the gutters if you buy their product. I can't even begin to afford their product so I wasn't able to get my gutter cleaned by them."

Small jobs welcome

"The customer service is excellent! Tyler contacted me regarding my request on Angi within an hour of filling out my request. He ran by my house, after asking if it was ok to do so, to look at what needed to be done. He had a very professional written estimate to me that same afternoon. He worked with my schedule to get the job done. Koby was out and power washed my house, pergola and Adirondack chairs this morning. He did an excellent job. Everything looks so nice, clean and ready for summer. Very satisfied with my experience with Under Pressure 260 LLC! I would definitely use them again!"

"I met with Tyler for an initial quote to replace my old gutters, again to confirm finish color and to schedule installation. Tyler was extremely helpful with everything and we scheduled installation after I was able to paint the fascia. They were even able to reschedule for a quicker installation. The crew did an amazing job during the installation, even more so considering the odd footprint of my house. They maintained a clean workspace and had the job completed in about 6 hours including gutter guards all around. Total cost was reasonable and not much more than if I had bought seamed pieces from Menards or Home Depot to do myself (once you factor in labor of course). Overall, I am definitely happy with the entire process and will gladly use them again in the future."

Gutter Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly to prevent clogs, check for cracks, and ensure downspouts direct water away from the foundation.

If your gutters are out of reach, a leaf blower with a gutter cleaning attachment can help blow out leaves and dirt. You can also consider using a telescoping gutter cleaning tool, which extends your reach while allowing you to clean from the ground. These tools often have adjustable attachments, such as brushes or hoses, to clear debris effectively. If these options aren’t practical, hiring a professional is a safe and efficient way to clean your gutters without risking injury.

There are several ways to tell if your gutter downspout drain is backed up. The most obvious sign is when you see water flowing over your gutter edges. This can occur during everything from light rain to a rainstorm. Additional signs can include peeling paint around your downspout, visible dirt around your downspout, and moisture on the side of the house. If you're having ongoing problems with clogs caused by a poorly designed or worn-out gutter system, consider getting a quote for gutter replacement cost.

Ensures thorough cleaning, preventing blockages and potential water damage.

Failing to clean your gutters can lead to serious and costly damage. When leaves and other debris cause blockages, water cannot drain properly and will overflow. This can lead to water pooling around your home’s foundation, causing basement flooding and structural damage. The overflow can also damage your roof, siding, and fascia boards, with the constant moisture promoting mold, mildew, and rot. The weight of wet debris can cause gutters to sag or break, while stagnant water creates a breeding ground for pests like mosquitoes and rodents. Additionally, runoff can damage landscaping or freeze on driveways and patios, causing cracks. To prevent these issues, it is recommended to clean your gutters at least once or twice a year.
