"They began work just days after accepting their bid, while others wanted us to wait weeks for them to respond.  Their bid was almost half of their competitor's.  They began work early in the morning and worked as long as they had daylight and sunshine.  In two days they roofed half of our church sanctuary, which is a very steep and large area.  In one day they tore off and roofed a garage.  Two more days finished off the other side of the sanctuary.  The work took a week only because they paused for 3 days due to excessive rainfall.  The work-site was just as clean after their work as it was before they began!  This included setting up a two-story scaffold and using boards to climb the sharp incline of the roof.  Incredible job!!!

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

Pulling weeds once per month is typically often enough to keep most weeds at bay. But in general, it's best to pull weeds as soon as you spot them to prevent deep root growth and slow their spread. To make it easier, plan your weed pulling after rain or after the sprinklers run so the soil will be nice and wet and the weeds will be easier to pull. If you notice moss accompanying weeds, make a plan to remove the moss immediately to prevent damage.

Poison oak is similar to poison ivy in that it's in the same family of plants. Poison oak is identifiable by its rounded-off leaves and hairy leaf texture. Tree-climbing varieties live primarily in western states while low-growing poison oak bushes occupy the eastern states. Treat poison oak like poison ivy to get rid of it permanently.

Yes, Johnsongrass is a hard weed to kill. It has the ability to grow fast and spread even quicker, so it requires a detailed plan and thorough application to eliminate it. The best plan of action is to kill Johnsongrass while the weed is establishing itself by hiring a lawn care professional or following the steps above.

Very carefully. You should be cautious when using any of the above methods, as any one of them could lead to you accidentally killing desired grasses and plants. However, there are selective herbicides that can target certain plants over others. Look for a product that only affects the type of weeds you want to eliminate and spares the plants you want to keep.

Whether a one-time spray treatment to control mosquitoes is enough depends on multiple factors. Often, you’ll notice a big difference after one application. However, mosquitoes are likely to return if you don't reduce attractive standing water habitats. This usually takes four to eight weeks if it’s still prime mosquito season.
