"Completely rebuilt our 26-year-old wood burning mason fireplace to bring it up to code. In the firebox completely removed fire brick from back and both side walls. completely removed clay flue and replaced with insulated stainless steel. This included adding a lever operated lock top damper and stainless-steel exterior flue cap. Much time was spent adding chamber tech 2000 parge coating to the smoke chamber. Kevon and his two workers were excellent. All details on steps being taken were clearly explained. All carpeting was protected from the front door to the work area in the family room. All debris was removed from the job site. This was a big job that took two days to complete. Am following the recommended wait time and break in steps to be taken. It is comforting to know that we have a completely safe fireplace that is up to code. Looking forward on having Doctor Flue perform annual chimney sweeps during the off season. "I’m probably the only person seen on the website not giving five stars but I will give the truth of my own personal experience. First of all my landlord hired this company. 1st time the owner was supposed to be out I waited over two hours before contacting him, he declined my call and text me that he had no idea who I was…had to reschedule. 2nd appt they were over two hours late. Afterwards, They had to come back to fix the door lock the next day. I’m now waiting for someone to come back out a third time because of rain pouring inside my kitchen on Friday. Called first thing Saturday to report it and was told there’d be here first thing Monday. It’s Monday and now I’m being told it will be the first topic of conversation this morning…I have stressed SEVERAL TIMES to this company how valuable MY TIME is but it doesn’t seem to matter. I was expecting them to be here to make wrong right because this is unacceptable. I’ve had to rearrange my schedule multiple times…I just don’t feel like I’m a priority nor that my time is considered valuable despite my ft time and the multiple things I juggle Day to day. And so I’m sharing my experience. This was a job set up by my landlord but should not matter one way or the other. (We also Have allot of rain coming within the next three days)"

"I paid Mr. Phomalee $1275 to do some bathroom remodeling work that he'd initially stated he'd be able to begin between Christmas and New Years this past December. After not showing up at that time, he proceeded to promise that work would begin on eight separate dates, missing all of them. During this time I received no communication from Mr. Phomalee unless I initiated it, and when I did he made an excuse related to his vehicle or family each time. Finally, I informed Mr. Phomalee that I needed him to return the funds paid to him as it had become clear he had no intention of doing the work for which he had been contracted. He informed me at that time that his previous excuses had been lies, that he had used the money I'd paid him for gambling, and that he most recently had not been able to due the work because he'd been trying to secure a loan to cover "the bad checks [he] had written to gamble so [he] didn't go to jail". So, I'm now in a position where I've had an unusable shower for two months, and will be forced to seek legal action against Mr. Phomalee to attempt to recover my money."

Our job did get pushed back due to weather, but they kept in contact with updates as to when they would be able to begin work.
