"They were recommended by someone after a couple companies failed to show up. They were here when they said they would be! Installed 3 porch fans- converting can lights, power washed the house and itâ s a 3 story. Power washed deck, driveway, porch, pavers and sidewalk. Installed new motor on irrigation system. Cleaned gutters and downspouts. Replaced missing shingles on roof. All was done within a week! Thanks Marylouâ s Handymen!"

"We hired the boys to come in and fix several rooms to get our house ready to sell. We were their first customers and will be hiring them again. They replaced flooring, finished trim, did quit a bit of drywall work, and so on. The only thing I would of changed was their clean up efforts but Im a bit particular when it comes to cleaning."

If the limewash has fully dried—which happens after about five days—you’ll need to use a diluted muriatic acid mixture to remove it. We don’t recommend wallpapering over older paper. That’s because creating layers of glue can invite bubbling or excess moisture on the wall’s surface. You should also prime your wall before applying wallpaper and smooth the wall as much as you can, and another layer of wallpaper complicates this process.

To remove pre-pasted wallpaper, you’ll need to wet the wallpaper or steam it to loosen the paste on the back of the wallpaper. Spray the paper with water, then let it soak for 10 to 20 minutes. From there, you should be able to peel off the wallpaper. Then, you may need to follow up with a cleaning solution and a scraper to remove any remaining wallpaper paste on the walls.

Even if the existing wallpaper is suitable, experts recommend applying only one new layer. Adding multiple layers (more than two total) can cause significant adhesion problems, leading to warping and bubbling. For the best results, the recommended approach is to remove the old wallpaper and all paste residue before hanging the new paper.
