"They were here and working by 8 a.m. All areaswere preppedwith plastic covering in each room. Ceilings were spackled and repaired as needed. Stain sealer was applied and dried . The workers finished all 3 ceilngs,cleaned up, vacuumed and moved the furniture back in place by 4 o’clock in the afternoon. I am extremely pleased with the job they did."

"The handy men were really nice and respectful. They did 2 jobs for me which includes a tv set with a fire place and a bead board for my California king size bed. The best way to protect a deck is to prevent damage from UV light, water, mold, mildew, insects, and abrasive cleaning methods. Sweep regularly to prevent debris that hides bugs and traps moisture that can result in mold or mildew growth. Use a deck cleaner once a year to remove algae, mold, and mildew. Avoid using pressure washers on high, as they can damage the wood. Applying a deck sealant can protect the wood from UV and water damage, and adding shade can also reduce sunlight damage.

Adding a second coat of stain to wood can even out the color to some extent, but it won't drastically alter the hue if the initial application is too light or too dark. It's more effective at enhancing the richness of the color rather than significantly changing it. Ensure the first coat is dry before applying the second.

It’s important to make sure the wood on a new deck is properly seasoned. Seasoning a deck is simple: Once you build it (or have a pro do so), just leave it alone so it can acclimate to the environment. If you don’t give the deck proper seasoning time before staining, the stain can lock in any lingering moisture and cause mold, rot, and other moisture issues down the road. Give the wood at least four to eight weeks to season before you stain.
