"Horrible customer service and the product is only getting worse over time. I have ordered 16 shutters from them over 5 separate orders during the last two years. A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"

"Charlie and Keenan arrived in the terrible heat and humidity to clean 2 wingback chairs and a recliner, as well as cleaning the kitchen floor, which is laminate. The two armchairs were on the top floor of the house and their equipment easily went up the staircase. They told me that they might not get the deep stains out on one of the armchairs, but I'm reupholstering them at some point. I just wanted them to be cleaned enough and deodorised. They were from an old house. Charlie checked the kitchen floor and after a coupler of questions he determined that there is a stickiness to the floor surface and he was concerned that their cleaning supplies might do further damage. Such honesty is incredibly rare this days. Keenan and Charlie were so thorough, quick, and well-mannered. They took great care of the house. Such terrific gentlemen!! Price was very reasonable too."

To clean your vertical blinds, dust each slat with a feather duster or microfiber cloth. Because the built-in blinds are encased in glass, they should not get dusty. You might, however, find that your door’s window panes get dirty. If that is the case and you wish to clean your patio door’s glass, first remove any loose debris with a small vacuum or brush. Next, fill a bucket with warm water and some mild dish soap. Dip a clean rag into the bucket and wet the glass on your patio door. Dry the glass with a clean microfiber cloth.

Depending on your existing cleaning supplies, cellular shades can be more difficult to clean. Their material is more delicate and cannot get wet, meaning you’ll need to rely on vacuums, compressed air, and hair dryers to get the shades clean. This could mean extra strain on your back and shoulders compared to cleaning other parts of your home.

You should replace your blinds every six to eight years, depending on the level of wear and tear and material of your blinds. Blinds that are warped or bent become difficult to open and close and usually harder to repair than they are to replace. Old blinds with frayed or exposed cords can also pose a safety hazard if young children are around.
