With trees this size, it is a dangerous and messy job. The wood dust covered most of the yard, though this is not a problem and will blow away soon. The plants under the trees were damaged, but hopefully some will grow back. The truck left ruts in the yard, but Dustin filled everything in when he left. We know that there will be more work we will need to do to put the yard back in order, but are extremely grateful that the trees are gone. They were leaning precariously in the direction of the house, so now we will sleep better at night knowing we don't have to worry about them crashing into the roof one day. I considered this an expensive job, but I don't know the current rate for tree removal, so the cost may be normal for this work. I do know that it was a quality job, done carefully and with respect for the rest of my property. I am extremely pleased with the work and would not hesitate to highly recommend Windswept. The result of that is one section sags badly in the middle. Membrane was planned to cover the roofs, but the workers had no idea about how to install it. The material was cut short, and, instead of being glued down, it was nailed, resulting in holes in the membrane. It will only be a matter of time before it begins to leak around the edges and through the nail holes. One part of one roof was supposed to be covered in a translucent material - so that light would get through for plants on the porch. The material used was cut short so that every time the wind blows, the roof material flaps and separates from the other sections resulting in large gaps in the roof. In part, due to these gaps, as well as gaps created by the roof covering being too short, every time it rains, it is almost as if there is no roof at all since that porch is completely wet. In addition, flashing was not installed correctly where the roof joins the house, so water runs down the side of the house. Furthermore, no gutters were installed, so water dripping off the roof blows into the porch. Other problems. 1. While the work was ongoing, a tarp was used to cover the work area, but the tarp was too small and water got into the open area during several rainstorms before repairs were complete. 2. A window in the kitchen was broken, and the crew left for the day leaving it completely open without bothering to contact us about the problem. We were both at work at the time and did not arrive home for several hours after they left, so not only was this a potential risk for vandalism, but we have indoor cats who could have escaped without our knowledge. Furthermore, glass was sprayed over a wide area in the kitchen, including in the cats' food and water bowls. 3. The job went on for 4 weeks - significantly longer than the 6-8 days that was estimated. Part of the problem was that they did not come daily, but showed up intermittently without letting us know what days they would be working. 4. He significantly underestimated the costs and he kept coming back asking for additional funds. We ended up having to pay an additional 50% in costs by the end of the job."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ny/groton/hudson-enterprise-reviews-2080991.htm"},"position":2},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"ELEGANT ESTATES","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"NY","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Betsy O."},"reviewBody":"The initial impression of the company had been a good one, as they seemed eager to begin work and returned our call quickly. Things began to go awry when they decided to drop by to survey the property to give us an estimate on a moment's notice at 7:30 on a Thursday night when we weren't available to show them what we were interested in. It seemed we were on the same page when they delivered the estimate via phone message the following day, so we went ahead and called back to schedule. We left a message, as they never answer their phone, only respond to messages. They called back at 6:30 Friday night and left a message to let us know they would probably be able to work us in in a week, perhaps a week and a half, and to call back during the week to make an official appointment. Monday morning at 8:30, two young men arrive unannounced to work on the lawn. The lawn was cut unevenly, and left much longer than we'd have liked, nearly untouched in areas that would have required that they use a smaller piece of equipment than the Mini-Cooper-sized lawnmower they use primarily. The \"Spring Clean-Up\" left much to be desired as well, with many leaves still left in flower beds, and much of the fall's growth not cut down or pruned to make way for new growth. When we called the place to discuss our concerns, they agreed to meet with us on Friday morning to be shown what we had an issue with. We scheduled for 9am, and though the fellow had preferred to come at 8:30 he said he would do his best to not arrive early, making sure we knew he was going out of his way to accommodate our unavailability at 8:30. We waited for them to arrive until 9:35am, when we couldn't put off going to work any longer, and after a few calls to them went unanswered. That evening we received a message on our home machine indicating that they had waited for half an hour for us, that cutting the lawn shorter at all was something they preferred not to do as it is apparently bad for the lawn, but they did it again anyway without actually speaking with us. The message left also indicated that the leaves and plant debris left in the beds was not considered part of a \"Spring Clean-up\", despite the fact that the first 85% of the leaves and debris they removed apparently were included in a \"Spring Clean-up\". The billing was done informally via e-mail, and the agreement for service didn't even include a handshake, since we never met with or received and signed a service contract."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ny/locke/elegant-estates-reviews-461148.htm"},"position":3}]}

Dustin and Cheryl Ann do a terrific job. They arrived as scheduled and worked throughout the day, first removing and chipping the branches then cutting the trunks into manageable sized pieces. Dustin has a bucket lift that raises him up to the level he wants, then he cuts off branches that...

Every one to three months, you should perform regular fountain maintenance, including draining, cleaning, and rinsing the components of your fountain basin and the pump and tubing to prevent algae and other buildup. Fountain maintenance also includes keeping the appropriate water level and removing debris like leaves, insects, and twigs from the water to avoid clogging the pump. You can also hire a professional landscaper to clean your fountain for around $50 to $150 per month on average.
Regularly clean pumps, remove debris, and monitor water levels to prevent algae growth and clogging.
Your hot tub manufacturer may have a recommended frequency for how often you should change the water, but most experts advise draining, cleaning, and refilling every three to four months, or seasonally. If you use it frequently, if a lot of people use the hot tub, if your dog goes in the hot tub, or if you do not clean and maintain it between water changes, you should consider changing the water even more often. You should refill it if the water becomes foamy, filmy, discolored, or smells different than usual.
