"From the beginning, James was very professional and thorough in providing me with details about the job. He gave me a fair estimate and the time span for the work. He and his crew arrived on the appointed date, James again reviewed the work to be done and answered all questions. His crew worked diligently the whole day with an appropriate lunch break. I provided James with the color paint I wanted for the room. It was only after he purchased the paint that I realized that it would be too dark. James was patient with my dilemma of trying to decide on a color. He personally escorted me to the paint store to be sure I would get the color I wanted. I can't believe the transformation of my bedroom with this paint job. Allstar did a fantastic job. The clean up was excellent. I am more than pleased with their work. "I had hired Nick a couple of years ago to paint the outside of the house I was living in. His men did an incredible job. When I bought my apartment, I called him in to do the work. I did not even bother to get another estimate. He is expensive, and worth every penny. He painted a 2400 sq. ft. apartment to my color specifications, hung wallpaper, removed a closet door and framed it out for a new bifold door, attached door stops and switch and outlet plates, had his electrician  hang fixtures, and do wiring for TV and internet. He removed a whole wall of mirror which was becoming detached from the wall, and repaired and painted that wall. No one would ever know anything had hung there at one time. I did wind up paying over and hove the figure above, because I then had the electrician remove a good bit of recessed lighting, and install LED lighting."

"They did a great job. I was out of town during most of the painting time and asked they wait to paint the living room until I returned as I wasn't sure on the color. They did just that and I'm thrilled with the way it turned out. They skim coated one wall and I wish I'd had the time (and money!) to do it everywhere, it makes a huge difference.

My only complaint is that they didn't remove the wall plates when painting. They simply painted around them. While they were obviously taped so no paint was on them, my plan was to change the wall plates anyway. I had to be extremely careful when removing the old ones so as not to chip the paint when prying them off the wall (as they had clearly been painted on/around several times). It seemed extremely lazy to not remove the plates, when the whole process felt very professional.  I remember Eric specifically mentioning they would remove the plates as he commented the last painters had not.

Overall, I'd hire them again, but I would give myself more time to more closely supervise and be crystal clear in my instructions."
