"Thank you very much. It's always a pleasure doing work for you!"
What also impressed me was his willingness to accommodate our special needs. Due to the business, the painting needed to be done on off hours. Eric was understanding and really went above and beyond. What really stood out was Eric's response to additional work that needed to be done. An entire lobby needed to be painted that went beyond the scope of the work. He put men on it during the weekend that worked day and night. Very impressed.
If you hire Eric to do your paint work, you'll find someone who isn't going to try to cheat you or take advantage of you. In my line of work, I see too much of this.
"Thank you! We look forward to working with you again soon!"
"Thanks for choosing us again to work for you. Its always a pleasure!"

The crew was knowledgeable, punctual, friendly and meticulous -- they made every effort to do a superior job and keep the rest of the house clean.
I am very satisfied with the work performed -- everything looks great!
They are on the "high-end" as far as price is concerned, but I would defintely use them again -- you get what you pay for!
It is true that there was a lot of preliminary plastering and prep work that needed to be done in my apartment. I found another painter to do this, from a company that did a really great job for a fraction of the estimate from Westbrook, and whose workers were extremely punctual and polite. The Westbrook painter himself (who was not the contact person) did a fairly good job, although less good than the other, cheaper company who did the prep work. In the course of the painting, the Westbrook painter knocked a light fixture off the wall and broke it. This would NOT have been a big deal to me -- I understand that accidents happen -- but the painter seemed almost to be frightened -- I wondered if the cost of the replacement was going to come out of his wages -- and the owner/contact person seemed at first not to believe that the accident had even happened. He did not apologize. He did send a replacement light fixture, although he did not install it. All in all, this was an experience that I would describe as borderline satisfactory.
The work started on time. Eric arrived with the two men who were to do the job, and went over each room carefully with them. The estimated time to complete the job was 4 days; they needed an additional two days to finish, because there was a bit more patching work needed than originally thought. They paid attention to detail and were very careful about protecting areas that were not to be painted. They moved all the furniture extremely carefully and there was no damage after everything had been moved back into place. Eric came by before I paid for the work, to make sure I was happy with the result.
I am extremely happy with the results. Everything looks clean and fresh. The workmanship is excellent, especially the patching work, which is virtually invisible.
I highly recommend Westbrook Painting!
"Thanks for the report. I'm glad you were extremely satisfied. It was a pleasure working for you."
My only complaint is that they didn't remove the wall plates when painting. They simply painted around them. While they were obviously taped so no paint was on them, my plan was to change the wall plates anyway. I had to be extremely careful when removing the old ones so as not to chip the paint when prying them off the wall (as they had clearly been painted on/around several times). It seemed extremely lazy to not remove the plates, when the whole process felt very professional. I remember Eric specifically mentioning they would remove the plates as he commented the last painters had not.
Overall, I'd hire them again, but I would give myself more time to more closely supervise and be crystal clear in my instructions.
"Thanks for the report. The previous painters actually applied silicone around the wall plates making it very difficult to remove the plates without making a further mess of the wall. We tried to remove them but ultimately decided to, given the limited time frame, tape them well and paint around them. As mentioned in the report, there was no paint on them."
"It really was enjoyable working for you! We hope to work for you on future jobs."
"It was a pleasure working for you. Keep us in mind for future projects."
"Thanks for the kind words. We are thrilled that you were extremely pleased with our work!"
"Thanks for the report! It was a pleasure working with you. I'm glad that we able to on very short notice get the job done especially during that severe snowstorm. In addition to the paint work, we also did a significant amount of wall repair/patch work which we agreed to prior to beginning the work."
