"We hired Ryan to work on our backsplash for the kitchen, we use Sonoma Glass Stone Mosaic Tile, which is not very easy to install because you have to make a lot of cuts. He did a great job with the installation and worked with our busy schedules. We also had him install a new stainless steel sink and faucet, which we thought was going to be the easy part, but we had to end up customizing the opening for the sink, He has very nice, calm personality which really help with our frustration. we end up paying a little more than we had agreed, but it was worth for the effort and the work performed."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Installing an infinity pool takes up to 12 weeks. It can take as long as 20 weeks if you have a complex design, are building a pool in an inaccessible area, or face weather-related construction delays. Either way, this is a big job that requires a lot of time and labor to get it right. Pool construction is not a job that should be rushed, as poor installation can lead to expensive recurring repair costs.

No, you shouldn’t be able to taste the salt at all since saltwater pools only contain about 10% of the salt you’d find in ocean water. Saltwater pools do create some chlorine, though, so you should still try not to drink the water.

Yes, adding a pool to your property will almost always increase your homeowners insurance premiums. This is because pools are considered hazardous, which increases your home's liability risk. The replacement cost of the pool itself is also factored into your home's rebuilding cost when determining coverage limits. The amount of the increase can vary from as little as $50 to several hundred dollars more per year, depending on your insurance company, location, current coverage, and installed safety features. It is best to contact your insurance agent before installing a pool to get an estimate, understand their specific guidelines, and factor the ongoing cost into your budget.

There are a few differences when it comes to winterizing above- vs. inground pools. Above ground pool winterization usually involves less hassle, time, and expense than the process for winterizing an inground pool. All the lines on an above ground pool are easy to access, making draining easier. Plus, above ground pools are typically smaller, meaning cleaning is quicker, and chemicals cost less.

There are some disadvantages to a salt water pool. Besides costing slightly more than chlorine pools, salt water pools require a lot of salt. It's also harder to find a professional with salt water pool experience to do minor maintenance and repairs. Salt water can also damage some materials, so you’ll need to use specific heating, fixtures, lighting, liners, and masonry when building a salt water pool.
