At 24, I’ve built a strong foundation in outdoor property services, running my own lawn care and junk removal business since receiving my driver’s license. What started as a way to enjoy working outdoors and earn reliable side income has grown into a dependable operation focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. With years of hands-on experience managing physical work, scheduling routes, and delivering consistent results for homeowners, I’m now expanding my services to include professional pet waste removal—helping dog owners maintain clean, safe yards without the hassle. I take pride in reliable, respectful service and turning necessary chores into something customers don’t have to worry about.

"purchased through Angie's list special for 10 yards junk removal. They took old wood, old carpets, old cabinets and countertops, sheet rock debris, and lots of trash. They were extremely easy to deal with and polite. They scheduled us quickly and arrived timely. Quickly removed all the junk and even swept our garage after, we had roughly 10 yards of garbage and they were more than efficient in getting rid of it. Will use them again if ever moving or remodeling again.

"I got their reference from Craigslist. There were no reviews in angie's list for them. I chose them primarily because they had a flat rate and not a hourly rate. I called Mike for a quote. He asked me the approximate list of all items we had like all the big items and them approximate number of boxes. After that he gave me a quote of $425. I emailed him back adding couple of more things to the list and the he increased the price to $450 that included the truck and furniture blankets. He also provided references. I called couple of his references and everybody was happy. On the day of moving they were running late, mike emailed me about it . Eventually they came after 1 and half hours of the scheduled time. Two guys same Mike and Shawn. They started loading stuff quickly. They had a good sense of planning and loaded all the stuff using all the space in the truck. In that process all taking care of every item. Loading was good and so was the unloading. They assembled the bed which they had taken apart in the old apartment and kept all the boxes in the appropriate area as we had marked the boxes. They handled the furniture with utmost care and in the entire move nothing broke or got lost. Very impressed with both of them. Finally at the time to pay they called the office and were asked to collect $475 from me. I talked to the Mike Henderson on phone and he said as we had some extra stuff which we had not told him before, so the extra labor cost. I did not miss to mention a lot of items, but as the work done was very good I was fine with extra $25. I would use them again & would recommend them."

Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

Most garbage disposals have a reset button that can be triggered with a tool as simple and accessible as your index finger. That said, if you need to perform a more in-depth troubleshooting step, like manually moving the arms inside the unit or rotating the impeller plate, a hex wrench is the most common tool you’ll need. Most garbage disposals come with a hex wrench.

If the cost of repairing a leaking garbage disposal is close to the cost of replacing the disposal, then fixing the unit might not make sense. When deciding if you should repair or replace your garbage disposal, consider the age of your garbage disposal, the cost of the repair, and whether your garbage disposal has had other problems recently to help you decide if the cost of repairing the leak is better than the cost of replacing the disposal.

On average, a garbage disposal can last anywhere from 7 to 12 years, with many models functioning well for about 10 years. With heavy usage, a motor may last a minimum of five years, while grinding plates will wear down over time. It's generally a good idea to consider a replacement if your unit is approaching the 10-year mark. Other signs that it's time for a new disposal include frequent leaks, persistent clogs, lingering odors, lack of power, or unusual noises. If your unit is not that old, it's worth investigating if a less expensive part, like a rubber seal or a loose hose, is causing the issue.

Soil is just one of the items you shouldn't put down a garbage disposal. Garbage disposals are only meant for soft, non-fibrous foods. Large amounts of topsoil, dirt, or rocks will damage the blades of your garbage disposal or clog the pipes. If a small amount of dirt goes down the drain as you repot a plant, you shouldn't have to worry, but never dump a whole pot of soil in the sink for fast disposal.

While the drain connection for a garbage disposal is nearly universal and fits standard sink drain holes of 3 1/2 to 4 inches, the size of the disposal unit itself is not. You must have enough space in the cabinet underneath your sink to accommodate the disposal's housing. A larger model may not fit in a compact cabinet or if the existing plumbing is arranged in an unusual way. Before buying a new garbage disposal, measure the available space under your sink. If you are replacing an old unit, it's often easiest to choose a new model of a similar size.
