"This company stands by its name :Swiss Welding as you will get a custom piece to perfectly fit your home done by professional welders. These individuals are true craftsmen. Their demeanor was incredible due to the care invested in my project. I truly enjoyed working with them and the ideas they presented were in line with what I envisionedonly better. Exceptional work. I highly recommend this company hands down.! These are not the greatest photos, but at least this is an idea of my Oil rubbed bronze powder coated Railing. This is a dining room project that is still in the works."

Wrought Iron questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly, inspect for rust, and repaint or seal to prevent corrosion.

This depends on where you are placing the iron railing. If you are installing a railing along a staircase, it would be a good time to conduct any necessary repair or maintenance jobs to the staircase itself. If you are throwing the railing up surrounding a deck or porch, deal with any persistent issues with said deck or porch. If you or a loved one needs a bit of extra help getting in and out of your house, this could also be a good time to install a disability ramp.

Most homeowners who install a wrought iron fence do so because it provides security. The material is sturdy and deters intruders from entering your property. They're also built to last and won't rust if you purchase a galvanized iron fence. So, you don't have to worry about replacing fencing every few years like you might with wood or other less expensive materials. Most homeowners also adore the look of wrought iron fencing, which adds a timeless look to just about any style home.

DIY is possible for small sections. Professional installation ensures proper alignment and durability for larger projects.

Deer can crawl under a fence if it has a gap of around 6 inches or more. Make sure to close all gaps at the bottom of your fence to keep deer out, and the bottom of the material should be tightly secured, or the deer will push right through it. As an added benefit, closing shorter gaps at the bottom of a fence can also keep rabbits out of your yard.
