"Where do I start, Rich Spoto was like a brother we had not seen in a long time. He was soooooooooooo nice and explained everything in detail to us. He took on our project, even though it was not a HUGE project. Everyone else that Home Advisor gave me, either did not call back, once I told them what we wanted done, or they said, this is not what they do. Rich & his Team were AMAZING, and we were so pleased they accepted our project. The Team excavated all the brush, and planted premium bluegrass seed, now we have a beautiful lawn. Rich, God Bless you for doing this for us, we are so grateful. By the way, he is so reasonable. hire him, he will NOT disappoint you. Patrick & Renee"

"Kyle and his crew were a pleasure to work with for my trees/brush removal and grading over 0.25 acres or land! He kept in regular communication throughout the entirety of the project and is a really nice guy! His price was very competitive compared to other quotes I received. He seems to figure out a solution for any issues that might arise throughout the project, which I believe is a great characteristic to have. If you want an honest, competitive quote for any of your landscaping needs, specifically tree and brush removal, don't hesitate and call Kyle today!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Trees should be pruned every two to five years, depending on its age and type. Young trees should be inspected and pruned every two to three years. Mature trees should be inspected and trimmed every three to five years, and fruit trees should be pruned annually with a careful eye on seasonal growth. Evergreens typically don’t need pruning, unless branches or limbs are damaged, diseased, or harboring pests.

If your palm tree has spots on the leaves, rotting buds, or is beginning to turn yellow, then you have a sick tree on your hands. You should contact a palm tree specialist to identify the problem and help treat the tree if possible. Preventing diseases and pests is key to a healthy palm tree, and it's essential to take action as soon as possible if your tree is showing signs of being sick.

Trimming your palm trees once or twice per year keeps them healthy and robust. Caring for palm trees includes cutting off brown leaves to prevent wildfires and pathway obstruction. However, you don’t want to over-trim the palm tree. Cutting too many branches off will weaken the tree and prevent future growth. And it’s essential to have a strong, healthy palm tree during hurricane season to prevent safety risks or property damage.

Using vinegar to kill tree roots is just one of the clever ways to use vinegar around the house. The method works best when you apply vinegar as directly to the root system as possible. For example, if the old tree roots and stump are currently exposed, drill holes in the tops of the roots and pour undiluted white vinegar into the holes to soak into the plant. Remember that vinegar can kill the surrounding grass and plants should it pour over the edge.

Opt for a barefoot tree. Pros harvest barefoot trees when they’re dormant (leafless). They shake the dirt from the root ball and pack it in moist material.

These trees can cost half as much as the trees at your local nursery, and you can buy them online—so there’s a much wider selection. Just make sure you keep your barefoot tree cool until you’re ready to plant it.
