He’s been handling our weekly mowing for over five years as well as spring/fall clean up, weeding, aerating and seeding, and anything else related to the lawn and grass. Beyond that, Joe was either willing to take on various side projects (like replacing our mailbox post when it fell, or astroturfing part of our backyard) or was spot on with a recommendation for someone who could do the work - like when we needed our deck refinished and painted. Joe does gutter cleaning, pressure washing, and so much more beyond just cutting the grass. His pricing is more than fair. After speaking with her, it was an easy decision to have them take care of everything. Her prices were extremely fair and reasonable, and she was able to work around my schedule. Her installers were professional, neat, and friendly - they did a terrific job! I would definitely use them again, and I plan on recommending them to my friends and family

    I had what I thought was a small job, a leak I had noticed on my enclosed porch and I no longer had the services of my trusted handyman of many years whom I would have turned to with this issue. After reading reviews, I called Matt. He examined the leak and then in his further assessment found much bigger issues: that the windows installed over 15 years ago were the wrong windows, had not been sealed correctly and that there were other areas of hidden damage. The siding had also not been correctly installed. He sent me photos and attached links to articles to educate me about his findings. He never went further even in his assessment without my consent and made himself available to me to talk about his findings and his recommendations. I was horrified by the enormity of the damage done by someone else's subpar and expensive work and was hesitant to so easily trust Matt. He drew up an extremely detailed estimate, every step of the work delineated with labor and materials, completely transparent and indicative of his innate fairness and competence. Where he could save me money, he did. I went ahead and had him proceed. I can tell you that after that initial hesitation, he has won my trust completely. He is a professional, has integrity and is a pleasure to deal with. He is extremely knowledgeable about a vast number of topics but when he doesn't know, he will say so. He was flexible about adding and removing items (mostly adding!) as the work proceeded. I very much appreciated the quality of his communication with me and his understanding of my availability because of work for in-person meetings. When there were some minor issues with the work that I was not completely happy with, he addressed them immediately until they were to my satisfaction, not asking for the last third of the balance until I was completely pleased with the job done. Knowing all that had been previously done incorrectly, I am relieved to have found someone who is both competent and trustworthy. His crew was a delight to work with as well. I just signed a contract for another job with Matt and have already discussed with him the jobs for next year

    I called to get an estimate to get my dog run fixed, but I ended up replacing the whole fence and adding more because it was more affordable than we thought it would be. We have a large yard with a slope in a very rocky area, so I was a little nervous that it wouldn't be able to get installed the way I had imagined it. The estimator came out about 6 weeks ago to give an estimate and it was installed within 3 weeks of me deciding to go with Jan Fence. The estimator was excellent with my needs an expectations an he really went above and beyond to make sure everything went well and he was very responsive with e-mailing me back with answers to my questions. The installers were on time and very neat and professional. They took their time and worked until it was almost dark to make sure my fence was installed for a party the following week. The gate looks great and the hand painted mailbox i picked out (I had a coupon for a free one from the local paper) is very cute and makes my whole yard look more like a home rather than just another house on the street. I love the fence, gate and mailbox and i will definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone I know. The dog loves it, too, since now he can't see what's on the other side of the fence to bark at it!

    The service provided from Mr. Handyman was wonderful from the first phone call all the way through the completion of the job. They are so incredibly accommodating (even stopping by prior to the work day to make sure the new garbage disposal I purchased would fit and that they would have all the parts necessary to complete the job when they came back)! They were prompt, courteous, and professional. They did great work & cleaned up after themselves - absolutely no issues. I have already scheduled an appointment for a few more projects around the house. Highly recommend

    Well, where do I begin? First of all, Drill It Handyman was the ONLY company that replied to my request on Angi.com. So, I went with them. I needed a few things done to the home I just moved into -- hang 3 light fixtures, install 2 door locks, hang 3 heavy mirrors, mount two TVs, and install crown moulding. In my first conversation with the owner, he said he could have two guys come out and get it all done in one day. Perfect! The first day they came, they were supposed to arrive at 10:30am, which I thought was a little late for an all-day project. They wound up arriving at 1pm and then left at 4. During those 3 hours they just got two door locks installed, a screen door handle replaced, and one light fixture (but the electric now doesn’t work and I've been without a hall light since). I paid $330 for their time, and they said they'd be back first thing in the morning. I got a text the next morning that they would NOT be coming, and they asked if they could come Friday instead. Fine. But in the meantime, I started getting quotes from other local handymen. We weren't off to a good start. Friday comes along and they don't show. Nothing... I texted back and forth with the owner and he had no idea what happened. I was furious and told him I'd find someone else -- but he asked that I allow him to make it up to me and he'd do the job Monday for half price. I said OK, but now had other quotes in my pocket. He assured me that this had never happened before and that it wouldn't happen again. Monday comes and I get a text that his guys are on their way. Great! Then an hour later I get a call that they were pulled over on their way to my house and that the guy driving had a restricted license and that the police wouldn't let him go. The owner then sent me a photo of the text exchange with his guys to prove he wasn't lying, but the photo showed them stuck in traffic and not pulled over at the side of the road. I asked him to keep me posted and the conversation went cold. Never heard back. Nothing. So, I called a local handyman. He and his partner came on time the next day and got a ton of stuff done at a great price. Great experience with this new crew! And I'll use them for a lot more jobs. As for Drill It Handyman -- they do not get my recommendation. Really poor experience from beginning to end

    My entire experience was wonderful. I spoke with a representative, who forwarded me to a technician and I got a call-back in less than 5 minutes. I was directed to send pictures of the door in question and I was quoted over the phone and told that a tech could be to me in an hour. I didn't get the tech's name, but he was amazing! He was extremely professional and was very thorough with the installation. I would highly recommend this company and will hire them again if we need more services

    We had such a pleasant experience with this company. They arrived promptly at our agreed-upon time, did the work in a timely, professional manner, and they were very polite and courteous to our family! There was zero micro-managing necessary. They definitely are experts. They broke our front yard concrete, removed it, leveled/pitched the yard, poured new concrete and did all of the extra work necessary to leave us with beautiful results.
