"purchased through Angie's list special for 10 yards junk removal. They took old wood, old carpets, old cabinets and countertops, sheet rock debris, and lots of trash. They were extremely easy to deal with and polite. They scheduled us quickly and arrived timely. Quickly removed all the junk and even swept our garage after, we had roughly 10 yards of garbage and they were more than efficient in getting rid of it. Will use them again if ever moving or remodeling again.

"They were wonderful.  Kept in touch with me via text messages to let me know when they started out, the delay they encountered due to an accident on route, when they arrived at the nursing home.  quickly and efficiently removed the furniture to the truck, while also speaking kindly to my mom (age 92).  when we arrived at the assisted living facility, they said they would move in the furniture while I helped Mom get around the facility and then find me to settle the bill.  10 minutes later the furniture was all in place and ready for her, and I was able to get her settled.  All in all, gentlemen I would hire again.

"Called and set up appointment to have them come and give estimate to haul junk items. On day of appointment they actually arrived early and looked over items. Gave me what I thought was a reasonable estimate to remove junk (which they said would fill about 1/4 of the truck) and I agreed to the job. They went right to work and had all items loaded within 30-45 minutes and were on their way. Only minor issue I had was noticing that some packing peanuts had blown out of empty shipping boxes, which ended up scattering across the lawn."

"Miller and his colleagues were able to do a lot of things quickly. Along with everything else, they also grabbed some old furniture that I needed help moving to the curb. They took several cares to make sure nothing was damaged during the move, including wrapping the furniture, turning off all the lights, and packaging the picture frames."

Garbage Removal questions, answered by experts

The two main negatives of garbage disposals are they are a safety hazard in homes with children, and they frequently encounter blockage issues. While they might be annoying to fix and monitor, garbage disposals can significantly lower your trash use and are a great way to dispose of organic waste. While there are negatives, the vast majority of homeowners acknowledge the positives are enough to install a disposal in their home.

Garbage disposals are durable appliances that usually last at least eight years as long as you clean and maintain them. It’s relatively rare for a garbage disposal to break on its own, as most malfunctions happen due to user errors, like overstuffing the grinding compartment or damaging the blades by trying to dispose of metal or bone. Eventually, cracks or leaks could develop in the unit, which requires a full replacement.

Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.

Continuous feed garbage disposals are the favorite model for many homeowners for a reason. As opposed to batch feed models, add food scraps to the drain whenever the disposal is running. This variety is also typically less expensive, more convenient, and easier to clean.

These appliances certainly increase the number of things allowed down the drain, but they’re not foolproof. There are several items you shouldn’t put in your garbage disposal, according to manufacturers and technicians. Don’t put coffee grounds down the drain. The same goes for eggshells, potato peels, hard foods, onion skins, and any dry, expandable food. Most importantly, never put grease or oils down the drain.
