"They were very professional. We had them test for lead in a multiple dwelling building. They were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about the very confusing local laws of NYS, and the nuances of how we have to deal with the issues. They were on time, very thorough with their work, (very friendly, which counts), and seemed to very much care about the quality of their work. They were fair and reasonable with their rates."

"I recently hired Elite Lead Paint Testing for an inspection on my property, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. From the very first call, they were responsive, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the entire process clearly. The technician arrived right on time, was extremely courteous, and handled everything with care — making sure to test thoroughly without disturbing any areas unnecessarily. The report came back quickly and was detailed, easy to understand, and gave me full confidence in the safety of my home. It’s rare to find a company that combines expertise with great customer service, but Elite Lead Paint Testing truly delivered on both. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs reliable, accurate, and professional lead testing. They made the whole experience simple and stress-free."

"Paul cam to assess the mold on my basement walls and he didn't just come in a look. He went above what we thought he'd do and inspect the baseboard in the entire basement. He also checked oitsode to see where the moisture could be coming in from. He was very efficient and helpful with providing information on air filters, remediation, and potential causes and how to prevent. We would use him again."
Ground water infiltration occurred through the concrete slab in two rooms on the ground floor of the house causing water damage and mold growth on the overlying flooring. The cause of the water infiltration appears to be associated with cracks and a crater in the concrete slab, which is believed to have been caused by pile driving work being performed during the construction of an adjacent building.
Mold in HVAC Coil Compartment
Construction/demolition work in an apartment unavoidably released high levels of dust that migrated into adjacent apartments. Dust containment methods, such as negative air filtration and poly sheeting, should have been used to prevent dust migration into adjoining spaces. Settled dust samples were collected from a table & curtain rod in a nearby apt, which revealed the presence of substantially elevated levels of silica and asbestos in the dust. Asbestos and silica are known carcinogens.

Lead Testing and Removal questions, answered by experts

Lead testing in residential properties involves collecting samples from paint, dust, soil, or plumbing and analyzing them in certified laboratories to accurately identify lead levels.

Lead removal services typically cost between $1,000 and $5,000, depending on the extent of lead presence, the property size, and the complexity of the abatement process.

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.

Services test for allergens, mold, VOCs, and carbon monoxide levels to ensure a healthy indoor environment.

According to the EPA, there is no safe level of lead in the blood, and so the maximum contaminant level goal (MCLG) for lead in water is zero. Even at low levels, lead is harmful to human health. It can also remain in the body and build up over time with repeated exposure.
