"I don't usually leave reviews for companies, but I just had to for this experience. We hired Desert Winds Painting to paint the outside of our house in Farmington. We've had some really bad experiences with contractors in the past, so we ended up getting 5 bids (they were #5 out of 5) to have our house painted. I really wanted to make sure we were making the right choice. From the moment we requested a quote, I was impressed by the professionalism. During the estimate, it was clear that they are knowledgable in their field, and by the end of the estimate, it was obvious that they were the right choice. "Aside from the delay in making an appointment, everything went smoothly.  He arrived exactly on time and cleaned up afterwards. One edge of the drywall did  not hit the stud so he worked with  a leftover piece of wood  I had  to fix that problem.  All other materials were provided by them.  The gap on the adjoining wall (between the wall and the garage door) was also covered.  Overall I was very pleased with the work.

"First of all, most contractors give you an estimate without charging, and this really was nothing more than that.  When he looked at the area to be remodeled, he gave me many more options than in the final plans, and it wasn't what I needed.
