Doug hand-crafted a beautiful kitchen table that is the centerpiece of our open concept kitchen/living space. The warm feel and welcoming design of the table calls our guests to sit and enjoy. Thank you Doug for the one of a kind piece of art that we get to enjoy every day.

Doug refinished an older dining table. The table was very discolored in multiple locations and also had a very prominent and rather deep scratch. He sanded, stained and varnished the table and it looks marvelous! There is no evidence of its previous condition. I am so happy with the outcome. Doug also raised the table a bit so it's more a more comfortable height. He really did a great job. He is a great talent! We are working on the next project already. Doug showed up "on time," which is HUGE for starters! My Bernhardt couch needed repair. Doug looked over the work to be done, and came back "on time" the following week and repaired all of it - like new! He was friendly, knowledgeable and definitely over-qualified for the repair but I was thrilled to get a custom carpenter to do the work! I would highly recommend him! Thank you Doug!

Outstanding service and excellent craftsmanship.

We had a turn of the century library table that had a badly broken leg. Doug repaired the broken leg and reenforced the other matching leg with blocks and pegs. We had a decorative butcher table that was highly distressed. Doug brought it back to life for us. It is like a new table all ready to be oiled and refinished.

A special kitchen work table was damaged during our move to New Mexico. The paint was scuffed in many spots. Doug did a minor repair on it and stripped all the paint so that I can oil and possibly stain it.

Doug repaired a broken wooden frame on a large mirror. He promptly came to my house and picked up the mirror. He repaired it and did a great job. He delivered the repaired mirror to my home promptly. I didn't expect him to pick up and deliver the mirror. This saved us a lot of time.

I was unsure whether Doug would accept the small project that I had for him to do; seeing that he builds custom furniture for clients from scratch. I asked Doug if he would be willing to manufacture a leg that had split on a small table I had in the kitchen. Doug didn’t hesitate in letting me know he could help me out and reproduced the leg in the exact detentions of the damaged leg. He was even able to match the color of the stain on the damaged leg to match the remaining three legs on the table. I was impressed with the detail he puts into his work and the quality of fine wood he uses in his profession. This is a gentleman that takes pride in his work as I witnessed the same during a visit in his workshop. Will definitely be utilizing Doug’s services in the future.
