"He came for the repair of the flat roof, but he just put or nailed blue tarp, instead of metal as I wanted because he said it's a too old building. He said he could clean my chimney, that he was going to remove the chimney cap and sweep the chimney, but he didn't protect it so all the dirt came in my living room, the chimney looks exactly the same as when he came. And with the vacuum, he just vacuumed downstairs, but there's still soot around because of the vacuum cleaner. He didn't offer to deeply clean, he just deducted $100.00 for the misery. The total was $1450.00"

"When they finally got to it, the workmanship was outstanding. We made our downpayment in October 2024 but the work wasn't done until June 2025. I'll admit the weather was the main obstacle, but communication from them was sparse. Emails I sent them were not replied to for days or weeks, sometimes not at all. Another peeve: they did put down a drop cloth below the skylights being replaced, but nevertheless there was a light coating of fine sawdust on floors and furniture outside of the drop cloth. But the new skylights do look great!"

"In 2017, we hired Vinny from Direct Call for home exterior work including building a stone patio. They finished our stone patio in late December 2017. Next year, in 2018, as the weather warmed up and we were excited to use our new patio, we noticed that they had done a very poor job. As can be seen in the photos, the patio wall and columns have shifted away from the patio and are continuing to shift further and further apart. We have been contacting Vinny for almost a year now to get the problem fixed. He told us twice, on different occasions, that he would come to fix the patio in a couple of weeks- but never showed up. Now, he no longer responds to our calls or replies to our text messages despite the 5-year warranty on the masonry work that he provided (at our request) at the time of final payment. Their work began falling apart within a few months of completion. The condition of our patio is continuing to deteriorate; the columns are no longer standing upright, but have come to an incline and are ready to fall any day creating a dangerous situation. Vinny does not do quality work or honor his warranty. Our next step will be filing a complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. We will also be talking to a lawyer for legal proceedings."
