When they did the insulation on my home they were very careful when moving things around and cleaning up after the job was done. Sebastian is very friendly and made every effort to explain everything and make sure I was happy with the work being done. I met with other insulation companies, but none seemed nearly as competent as Jersey State. The others wanted to charge me a lot more for something I didnt think I needed. The others though my problem was only the attic. Sebastian inspected the attic and said there was nothing it needed. Other contractors didn’t even want to attempt blow-in insulation, but Sebastian and his crew did it and the result is fantastic"

He walked us through the analysis of the energy leaks in the house and outlined several options to help us save on our energy bill. Rather than immediately pitch us on the most expensive option, he gave us an objective cost/benefit analysis as to which package would result in the best energy savings per cost. Howard was very responsive over email as well as on the phone and he and his staff were always friendly, professional, and very accomadating when it came to scheduling. "Joe did a great job on this, our dining room was a add on to connect the original home and the garage and had no insulation and boy in the winter it was unusable as well as the kitchen basically (the best part of the house). Joe came and drilled small holes in the attic floor that they sealed up later to allow for blowing in the insulation. And they cleaned up well. we have a 20 month old but there was nothing left over for the baby to put in her mouth. Joe is great! Our dining room is toasty and the kids can play in there year-round Plus they are were less than half of the expensive "efficiency" guys PSEG sent over. Those providers wanted to charge $10,000+ for basically the same job."
"They arrived on time. They offered assistance with moving the furniture out of their work area. The workers made sure to cover the floors and all the furniture before they began their work. The work was completed in two days as predicted. They forgot to include one of the entryways ceilings In the contract. I mentioned this to the worker and after a phone call to Ari they proceeded to do the work. Although I would have liked to see Ari at some point during the insulation process, I believe the work was done well. We will wait for this coming winter to give our final verdict. "
"Mike came and did a thorough inspection of my crawlspace which was once home to a family of raccoons. CleanSpace came and cleaned and disposed of all of the soiled insulation and sanitized the space before installing new and better insulation . The work was done quickly and as described, I would recommend them for anyone in a similar situation!"
"I hired Paragon a year and a half ago in 2016 to remodel a small galley kitchen and bathroom in a one bedroom in Manhattan. Overall, I thought they did a really nice job and would also have rated them a B+ (like one other rater had suggested) had this rating been available. I enjoyed working with Paul B, and Kyle, and the rest of the crew. They were professional, hard working, and a bunch of good guys. I think their labor pricing was reasonable based on my other comparisons. While I haven't done any remodeling before, I assume there is always some hiccups along the way. Process-wise, I believe there could have been slightly more communication/written organization rather than relying on verbal (e.g., the initial kitchen back splash was tiled staggered though I had asked for it to be stacked. This was easily corrected but it would have brought more comfort had everything been in writing). I also felt the plumber could have been a bit more professional. I had bought a shower system that didn't seem terribly complicated to me but he didn't seem to understand how the system worked, scaring me to thinking that I ordered the wrong parts. Eventually he got it but I was surprised that he wasn't familiar with it. The toilet also wasn't set properly initially on the wax ring so there was some leaking initially with the toilet. That said, they were great at coming back and resetting and fixing the issue per their guarantee. I tend to be a picky customer in all aspects of my life. My bar is pretty high so i did ask them to redo some of the tiling in the bathroom as it wasn't as smooth as I had expected. Again, they did reset it and generally had a good attitude about it. All in all, I liked the folks at Paragon, and appreciated Tom letting me pick the specific material I wanted for the project. I thought the pricing was reasonable, the crew worked hard, and they were fairly responsive to my high bar. And 1+ years out, the renovation is still good with no signs of any problems."

"Rightway Waterproofing is the company you want to come and waterproof your basement. I had initially set up a job looking for pros through Angie's List. I was contacted by Rightway Waterproofing via phone and email but did not respond as life happens. Well it rained really heavy again in August and I had more water in the basement. I reached out to them on a Friday and Albert contacted me immediately. They were able to come out on Monday to look at my property. Jake was thorough and friendly. He let me know what he thought we needed, explained everything thoroughly and gave us a quote which was completely reasonable. We accepted the bid and work was to commence on Thurs as they had an opening. Work was completed in one day. The area was kept pristine and they did an amazing job. The crew was courteous to my family. I could not recommend them more. I hope to have them out again at some point to finish my basement area as well. Try to keep in mind that during the season of covid many families are looking for ways to make more space in their homes or to have to home projects done. "I was surprised at their quick response and how easily they scheduled me for a home visit for an estimate. Once Billy Flynn came to the house I was convinced I called the right company.Billy was very knowledgable about waterproofing and walked me thru the different options available, he was very transparent and earned my trust within minutes. he used a pretty cool feature on his tablet that sketched out my basement and noted all the job details so that installers could be on the same page with everything. he showed me a few more pictures and videos to ensure I understood the process. Billy also helped us get approved to finance the project and personally called the bank to get us a better deal than we were offered when we called. Billy was able to get us on scheduled within a few days since we were expecting heavy rain. When the day of the project came I met Dave one of the Job Inspectors and again he explained to me what to expect from the install. The crew got to work instantly and to my surprise they take job cleanliness very serious they put covers all throughout the floors, and stairs and put plastic all around the work area as well as a fan to control the dust. The crew did an amazing job and worked at a very fast pace but also took the time to show me every step in the process. within 6 hours they were all done with the job and the place was left as if they hadn't been there.
