"

I had a bad experience with them. I had complained to the owner, that I was billed for something, which I shouldn’t have been and that created the problem. They have another company and they also did some work. Eventually, they had billed both the jobs together. The problem is with the management, which lacks. I will never use their services in future.

"Great experience from start to finish. The crew was on time, easy to work with, and did a really nice job on my concrete repair. Everything turned out exactly how I wanted, and they left the area clean when they were done. I’m very satisfied with the results and would definitely use them again."

Small jobs welcome

Offers commercial services

"So glad to have met and hired Brian. He was extremely communicative leading up to and throughout the project. His price was reasonable, and he was extremely dedicated. I had multiple companies not even follow through for this project and Brian made sure that he did. He even came back and stayed later to ensure the job was done properly. His thorough work, honesty and dedication are the reasons why I will continue using his services. Even my neighbors are ready to hire him! Thank you, Brian, for your wonderful work."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

Pulling weeds once per month is typically often enough to keep most weeds at bay. But in general, it's best to pull weeds as soon as you spot them to prevent deep root growth and slow their spread. To make it easier, plan your weed pulling after rain or after the sprinklers run so the soil will be nice and wet and the weeds will be easier to pull. If you notice moss accompanying weeds, make a plan to remove the moss immediately to prevent damage.

Purchase a selective herbicide that targets clover and similar weeds but doesn't take out your grass. You can also keep it from growing with corn meal gluten or remove clover from your lawn manually at the start of the season as part of your lawn maintenance checklist.

Some of the particular herbicides that work best to get rid of nut grass without killing the grass include Halosulfuron-methyl, mesotrione, sulfentrazone, and metsulfuron. A herbicide like glyphosate would kill nutgrass, but it will kill nearby plants, too.

The fastest ways to kill weeds and unwanted grass include burning them, pouring boiling water on them, or pulling them out by hand, as these methods work almost instantaneously. For a quick-acting solution that works within a few hours, you can use a commercial-grade herbicide like glyphosate or a DIY vinegar, salt, and dish soap mixture. While effective, be aware that commercial herbicides introduce chemicals into your lawn. The slowest method for killing weeds is to starve them of sunlight and nutrients using mulch or fabric covers.

Landscape fabric and a few inches of gravel should be enough to put under a deck to prevent weeds from flourishing. If you don’t want to invest the time and money on a project like this, you can regularly spray the area underneath your deck to kill weeds.
