History Fresh Carpets originally operated in Lumberton, NJ. In 2005 the owner moved to Mantua, NJ and the business now has machines and equipment in both Lumberton and Mantua to better serve all of South Jersey, Philadelphia, and Delaware. Fresh Carpets was started as part of a commercial janitorial company that was owned and operated by my father and uncle. I joined the business in 2000. Fresh Carpets started out servicing commercial carpets for the janitorial company. As time went on the carpet cleaning portion of the business grew, and residential carpet, upholstery, and tile and grout cleaning were added. Fresh Carpets then broke off from the larger commercial cleaning company in 2009. My father and uncle continued on with the commercial janitorial service and I specialized in carpet, tile, and upholstery along with repairs and odor removal. We still work closely together if and when needed. My brother Scott has also worked for the family business since the beginning. We are a true family business.
