"Eric and his team did a great job. They were flexible to my needs (homeowner's insurance was involved), fair on pricing and accommodating with scheduling. I kept in constant contact with Eric through all the milestones of the project which included other contractors and architects. Despite the additional layers of complexity, Eric made sure I was happy. The crew doing the work was outstanding. Chris and Joe knew what they were doing and went the extra mile to ensure I was a happy customer when putting in the new beam and framing out the rafters. While MC Home was put on hold for several months while I addressed the roof and solar install I was also handling, they picked right back up when all of the snow thawed. Frank and Gio came in, listened to my ideas and brought everything to life. While I did invest a lot of my time into the project to handle the porch ceiling, electrical, screen installation and paint, I never would have been able to finish the porch in the same time frame without MC Home. They were a pleasure to work with and were able to provide me with additional contractors to finish the fascias, soffits, gutters and downspouts. It took over a year to call the project complete, but I was NEVER delayed because of MC Home. I'd hire them again if I come across a project I can't handle. Note: The pictures shows off their work (before and after soffits, gutters, downspouts and paint), but these were before I put the screens in. If I can upload more, I'll find some during the actual framing as both sides of the dormer were stripped down and new rafters put in...and to some serious specs laid out by the architect."

"Jim and his team are professional, reliable and some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They have transformed the outside of my house. We’ve had them install basement windows, as well as front and back doors. Most recently they changed two sliding patio doors, a garage door and replaced some damaged siding. "WARNING: DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! To start, we got a free quote on May 4th for a concrete patio. They seemed to know what they were doing and gave us the best price, so we went with it. We should have known cheaper never means better. We gave them a deposit and they told us that the remainder would be due at completion, however, each time they were here, they asked for more money to be given. From the start communication and scheduling was very difficult. It took us awhile to get in touch with Vinnie and to get them to come out to do the work. They would say they would come on X day, then they wouldn't show until a few days later, however, we continued to give them the benefit of the doubt and were beyond patient with them from start to finish. Come pour day, which wasn’t until the end of May, they hired only 2 workers, which we later found out, were not “real masons” They poured the cement and only finished half of it. They left that day with a whole cement slab in our backyard with only half of it “finished” They said they would come back the next day to complete it. Cement patios are supposed to be done in one shot- monolithically, or they will crack. They didn’t show the next day to finish. Days go by and still they did not come back to finish it. So now we have a dried cement unfinished slab in our backyard. We then realized that they poured it against the foundation of our house with no expansion joints, which is not up to code. The few days that passed, it rained a lot and we had huge puddles on the patio- even on the “finished” side- just shows you that they did not know what they were doing and it was completely uneven. Truly unhappy with how things were going, we requested them take out the cement slab, clean the cement that was all over our siding, plant new grass where they killed our grass, and most importantly, refund us our money. At the time, they agreed, but it took FOREVER to get any work or money back. Come June 8th, they finally came back to take out the patio, they took out half of it and refunded half of our money. They also never showed to clean our house and replant grass seed like they promised, but at this point, we just wanted our money back. It is now July 18th and after being ignored by Vinnie for weeks and weeks, we had to threaten them with a lawyer, and complaint to BBB and Federal Trade- and it wasn’t until we did that, that they finally sent us the reminder of our money back. I would also like to add that Eric, the “salesperson” as he called himself was nice to us, but VERY rude to his workers that they hired to do work. He would yell at them and we overhead many racial comments he would say to them and it made us feel super uncomfortable. Again, save yourself and do not hire these frauds."
