We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

"Really well, everything looks great. Windows were washed inside and out and screens and tracks were cleaned. What a treat, to have all of that done in a couple of hours!"

After power washing, they went over the whole house filling cracks with silicone, covered the windows, pulled back mulch and protected bushes from overspray. "Made an appt. with Castle Rep, James, for 17 windows and vinyl siding. He spent 1 hour talking about how great his company and windows are before finally getting down to the issue. We were told that CASTLE makes and services their own window, with all the best technology and technicians available. The price per window for energy efficient came out to over $1,200 per double-hung window! And since they make their own products, we could not find a way to compare quality and price with other manufacturers. But his per-window price exceeds the average price of $500-700 by A LOT! When we balked, he made a call to his "manager" to see if we qualified for a "special promotional" discount. If we were to commit right there on the spot, we would get an additional 10% off! Still way to high. We said we would think about it (he got sad and snippy), and that we wanted to hear about the vinyl siding quote before we made any decisions. He told us he could not give us a siding quote until his company did an "eagle view" measurement, which would require another appointment! We had no intention of sitting through ANOTHER high-pressure appointment. High pressure, long-drawn out presentation and he would not leave us with anything in writing! No brochures, prices, nothing! He refused to put anything in writing and we could not have a break down of labor and costs. I even asked him if I could have a copyhh of the window warranty and he said "only if you purchase right now." And they did not come prepared with references or previous job locations! When we further researched the company, we found they did make very excellent products, but the #1 complaint was by far that they did not honor their lifetime warranty and that customer service was horrible. In the end, we chose not to do business.."

"The owner John and his assistant were very professional and clean. John does great work and has the experience and correct tools to properly sand the new spackle w out getting any drywall dust in the air. - He used a large specialty sanding disc w a shop vac connected to it. Which was a very fast and clean way to get the work done. - Credit should be given to any craftsman who invests in the right equipment for the job. As well as being able to do the drywall repairs AND paint. It's was not easy to find someone to do both. He supplied the paint. It was a perfect match using new paint made up w the old Sherman Williams color code. I would recommend hiring Dominic's Painting for any drywall repair, painting and/or skim coating."

"They were very nice and professional. The only thing I wasn’t thrilled with was that my son’s room was sort of a brighter green color and I found areas where they had missed the second coat. However, they came right back and fixed it. Overall, I thought that they did a fine job. We spent about $3400, but we had the entire interior of our house done. They did a very good job. I would recommend them. They were two brothers and they had some other guys that worked with them. One of the brothers had gone home to Argentina at one point and I wasn’t sure if he was coming back. If they are still around, I would definitely have them back."

"We had a problem with Hurricane Sandy, and we lost a roof over the kitchen and part of the house, and we got all the water coming in into the kitchen and destroyed the whole kitchen. The granite transformation was only done 5 years before that. We were very happy with them.We removed the tiles, and they  had put the granite on top of the tiles, and so the end result was beautiful. We were happy with it, and the only problem was Sandy. It destroyed everything. We had to change the whole kitchen after that, and we could not save the counter top, so we had to remove it, and the only way we could remove the cabinets, was to smash the counter tops. It needed a lot of strength because it was a very strong piece. It was L-shaped with a sink in the center, which they also supplied. Another part was 6 weeks long on the other side of the range. It was very solid and very strong, you could put anything on it, whether hot or cold, and you could cut veges, and it did not leave any marks. It was very nice. They were very punctual, and they were very nice people."
