They arrived early with a full crew and did an exceptional job. The job involved removing a significant number of roots and a lot of regrading. We arrived home to an amazing looking driveway and a large pile of roots in the woods, The evening after the work was done Justin came by to check on our satisfaction with the work and told us to dos and don't to ensure the driveways stays in good condition. Overall a wonderful job!"

"Although they were delayed by a day, I was notified appropriately. On the day of service, a large team of men arrived at 7 A.M. and immediately began to work, tearing up the old driveway with picks, sledgehammers, and heavy equipment which scooped up the asphalt. Despite a very hot day, the work proceeded at a furious pace, with only brief pauses when the whole crew rested for five minutes. All old asphalt was removed in large trucks. New gravel was trucked in and spread. Then the heavy equipment arrived: the asphalt-laying vehicle, large trucks full of hot asphalt, and two sizes of steamroller. Care was taken to slant every part of the pavement for optimal water drainage. Edges and corners were carefully beveled and compacted. Final cleanup was thorough. I was surprised when the entire project was completed in less than a day! We heard no foul language from the team, and they seemed to interact as old friends. All were polite to our family members. Sam Patterson, the owner, was easy to work with and made several constructive suggestions about the property."

Paul Mercier is a true professional who really knows his business, and does an exceptional job at a rate that is not only comparable but very reasonable for the results you get. We hired Paul Mercier in the spring of 2015 to pave over our 20-year-old 440-foot driveway, which has two switchbacks and winds its way up a ledge. When the driveway was first laid in 1995, it was not done properly with enough of a foundation. Over the years we did various patch repairs, which never lasted for long. When we found Paul, we were overjoyed to have someone who knew what he was doing, and actually did it! Paul, along with his great crew, gave us a REAL driveway, with a 2-3” base, which has lasted for 3.5 years WITHOUT ANY CRACKS OR DAMAGE due to frost heaves since putting it in. This past September of 2018, we invited him back to seal coat the driveway, as well as shore up the edges with 3-4” stones to prevent washout on the sides of the driveway. He suggested adding some crushed gravel to one side of the driveway to create extra parking areas for our in-home business, which we proceeded to do and are very happy with. He also laid down some crushed gravel to prepare a patio under our deck for future installation. "Leo was recommended to me in my search to replace a large 70 ft x 6 ft retaining wall and fence, which surround a swimming pool. He was the most reasonably priced bid, and once we got the permit approved, which required engineering plans, it took one week to demolish the old wall and put up a beautiful Ideal Block wall. Since the patio was half torn up due to the demolition, he asked if I wanted to redo the patio. It was more money than I planned, and he allowed me to pay over specified time frame. He added a small retaining wall 3 ft x 7 ft and did a walkway from the gate to the driveway matching the patio perfectly. He completed all the work in three weeks, passed inspection and we have a beautiful oasis."
