"Mauro and his team did an incredible job installing a patio for us. He was very quick to respond and get time scheduled. We did a 450 sq ft patio with a rounded side and it came out exactly as planned and hoped. Two days after it was completed we had lots of rain and everything drained well with no puddling. His team was very nice, the work was done promptly (less than 48 hours from initial site prep to cutting joints), were on budget from his first estimate, and they were very intentional to minimize damage to my yard around the project. Not only did they do exceptional work, but I reached out to six different concrete companies and he was the fastest to respond and had the best rates. "I can't say enough nice things about P & R Concrete. Rosendo Puentes and his crew did an outstanding job for a reasonable price. I asked Rosendo if he would be here during our concrete work and he told me, "I am on every job." He was not only here on our job but he worked right along side of his crew. I personally think that is why he receives such great reviews because he is right in there doing the work with his guys. His crew is very nice and professional. They were here when they said they would be here and had the job done when he said it would be done. I am very pleased with their work. After they completed the job and had moved on to another job, we discovered that a dog had run across our wet concrete and left 6 huge paw prints! I called Rosendo and he offered to come back and see if he could do something. He promptly returned and they were able to remove the paw prints. This was above and beyond what I would expect. "Mr. Perez said it would be $3100.00 to do the demolition of the old slab, removal of debris, new concrete and railing installed. I gave him a check for $1600.00 to do the project with the balance being paid upon completion. The day before he was going to start, he asked if I was going to pick up the supplies. I stated that should be included in the estimate. I told him to pick up the supplies, because I don't know what is required. He told me it would be another $1000.00 for supplies. I requested a contract and a receipt for the supplies. He finally sent me a photo of the receipt and he had purchased 83 x 60 lb. bags of concrete, too much for the job I was having done. Additionally, he had two small boys with him when he was working. After thinking about the amount of concrete he wanted me to pay for and he previously told me he had a different man to do the concrete, I told him I didn't want him to do the concrete. I wanted the concrete to be done by a professional concrete company, not bagged concrete mixed on site. After some back and forth, I requested he pick up his things and leave. He requested an additional $500.00, which I refused to pay. He dumped the concrete he had removed in the middle of my driveway and told me he would take me to court. He continued to text he wanted an additional $500.00 or he would take me to court."
