"Sally does a tremendous service for us twice per week: Cleaning the house, floors and bathrooms; doing our laundry, including bedding, and hanging or folding clothes, putting them away and remakinh the bed; and hamd washing dishes as necessary. She is also very amenable to to amy extra taaks we might request. (at little.or nominal additional expense). She always has a terrific attitude and pleasant personality, making her visits a true pleasure."

"Cutting Edge drove from Kearney to our church in Grand Island. They were on time, and very personal. They worked hard to clean the 500 worship center chairs! These chairs get a great use out of them every single week. They needed a good cleaning. Cutting Edge worked quick and efficiently! I 100% recommend them, and will reach out to them for their services in the future. -TCCC"

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

Some flooring companies recycle old carpet after replacing it. The broader flooring industry has been moving toward recycling more carpet material. However, whether an individual carpet gets recycled is up to the flooring company that removes it. When gathering quotes for new flooring in your area, ask each company about removal options and what they do with the material.

If you want your carpet to last as long as possible, then yes, you need to install carpet padding. Carpet padding creates a layer of protection between the back of your carpet and the floor beneath it, which decreases friction and reduces wear and tear. Aside from that, carpet padding also helps absorb noise and makes your carpet feel more comfortable underfoot.

Yes, you can negotiate the purchase price of new carpet. You may also be able to negotiate installation costs or other fees in addition to the per-foot pricing of the carpet itself. You may have better luck negotiating with an independent retailer (as opposed to a big-box store), as they may have more discretion in pricing, but it’s always worth asking.

If the stairs are already covered in carpet, you will need to remove the old carpet and possibly the carpet pad. Any damage to the stairs like cracks, loose boards, or creaky treads may also need to be repaired. You may also want to sand and refinish or paint wood stairs before installing a carpet runner.

Yes. When installed properly, the strong adhesive on carpet tiles keeps them in place while also allowing homeowners the flexibility to peel up an individual tile and replace it if they need to. It’s important to keep in mind that the adhesive on your carpet tiles may take some time to cure, so it’s best to leave them alone for a couple of days after you first install them.
