"We have had a great experience. We purchased a home in Bellevue Nebraska with a very neglected pool. Kyle and his brother are very knowledgeable and have been great. Very dependable. Communication is excellent. They have taught us so much. We will definitely continue to use their services. I highly recommend them."

"My husband and I hired Sam in June 2015, shortly after we bought our first home that has an in ground swimming pool. After calling ALL the swimming pool companies in Lincoln, Sam was the only one who answered his phone. Sam came right out and showed us what was what and how to maintain the pool. He was very patient with us and explained everything very well. Unfortunately, the pool had a leak the previous owner did not disclose. We stuck it out for the rest of the summer and then towards the end of the summer, Sam and his crew came out and spent approx 4 days and put in a new liner. We ended up hiring a lawyer to sue the previous owner and Sam was very accommodating and wrote us a letter stating his professional opinion of the condition of the pool to submit in to evidence. He also wrote another letter regarding our payment of the pool liner requested by the previous owner. Sam definitely went out of his was to help us out in the legal proceedings. We found a few things here and there in the yard that we had to clean up after they were finished installing the liner, but overall, they cleaned up well. I thought about just giving them 4 stars for the fact that we never filled up the pool after the new liner was installed just because it was the end of summer and it would have been a waste of water. I went ahead and gave them 5 stars because I'm confident come summer when we have Sam open the pool for us there won't be any issues. And if there are, I know Sam will back his work 100%."

"It was great, the pool technician was very helpful and kept us updated on what repairs were needed. He followed up after his visit to ensure we knew the next steps. 10/10 would have this technician again."

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

Whether you can repair a hot tub depends on the severity of the problem and the location. With the right tools and knowledge, you can fix problems like small leaks or switching out a dirty filter. However, electrical and plumbing issues require a licensed professional due to the inherent risk, particularly when mixing water with electricity.

Shocking your hot tub means adding extra chemicals to the water. Most spa experts recommend doing this once a week for proper hot tub maintenance, but you can do it more if needed. Shocking has multiple benefits, including preventing the water from becoming murky and it’s essential in removing harmful bacteria from the water.

Similar to a hot tub, swim spas last anywhere from five to 20 years, depending on quality and your attention to maintenance. The best way to increase the lifespan of your swim spa is to carefully maintain it—including draining it around every six months to deep clean the parts.

Regular water testing, filter cleaning, and chemical balancing are essential for keeping water clean and equipment functional.

You’ll know you need to replace the pump in your hot tub if you hear loud or unusual noises when the machine is running or notice a significant decrease in water pressure. A leak or altogether failure of the hot tub may also indicate a problem with the pump, but you’ll need a professional to investigate the source of the issue.
