"LeafFilter doesn't clean gutters, they sell and install their LeafFilter Gutter products and only clean the gutters if you buy their product. I can't even begin to afford their product so I wasn't able to get my gutter cleaned by them."

"We couldn’t recommend Kayl Heating & Air more highly! We recently had a new furnace and AC installed, and every interaction we had with their team far exceeded our expectations! From our estimator to the front office staff to the installation crew, everyone was kind, professional, and respectful. What stood out most was the level of care behind every aspect of the experience. It was evident that their processes are intentional, and communication is a top priority. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and we always felt like we were in good hands. The installation team was efficient, meticulous, and took great pride in their work, leaving everything clean and ensuring the job was done right. It’s rare to find a company where every member of the team consistently reflects the same high standard of professionalism and genuine care. Kayl Heating & Air has certainly earned our trust, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional HVAC service!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

If you don’t want to remove the sink stopper, pour ½ cup of baking soda and 2 cups of boiling water down the drain. Start by pouring 1 cup of boiling water, then the baking soda, followed by the remaining cup of boiling water. Use caution as boiling water can damage PVC or other plastic piping. Using a scrub brush or slightly abrasive sponge, clean the top of the stopper, and run the faucet to ensure the drain is clear and the stopper is clean.

Yes. While you can clean every room in your home with vinegar and baking soda, you should not use them on marble floors. Vinegar is too acidic, and baking soda is too alkaline; both of them can lead to etching on your marble. A pH-neutral cleaner is your best bet to clean marble floors.

It depends on the surface you’re trying to clean. For example, a mixture of vinegar and water is a good option for a deep cleaning, including removing hard water stains from glass or stainless steel. However, vinegar is too acidic for granite and other types of natural stone, so it’s better to use a combination of baking soda and water on those surfaces.

You’ll often find mildew and soap scum in the same place, but they are very different substances. Mildew is a substance composed of living fungi, whereas soap scum is primarily an accumulation of mineral deposits. Mildew needs chronic moisture to thrive, while soap scum is unaffected by damp conditions (though it is a residue left behind by the water).

Yes. Every toaster is bound to accumulate a build-up of crumbs and food particles. If left unattended, these can turn into a fire hazard.
