"I called to set up an appointment and he came the next day. Did an excellent job. Very nice friendly and professional. The cost was very reasonable. He also inspected our roof for us and took pictures so we could see any damage. We would definitely use him again."

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

Grab Bar Installation FAQs, answered by experts

It is worth it to install window bars for a few reasons. Security bars can slightly increase the value of your home in the eyes of security-conscious homebuyers, especially if you're living in an area with a higher crime rate. You may also qualify for lower homeowners insurance premiums by installing security measures like window bars.

Professionals use secure clips, weatherproof materials, and proper electrical connections to ensure safety and durability.

Yes, by reinforcing hinges and latches to prevent unauthorized entry.

It is legal to put bars on windows in most places, but it depends on the type of bars you choose and the regulations in your area. For example, there are building codes in Mississippi, California, and Texas that forbid the use of permanently closed burglar bars on windows due to concerns about people getting trapped inside during fires.

To install window security bars, you have to mount the bars securely to opposite sides of the window frame. A home has structural framing directly behind window frames, so the screws you use to mount burglar bars need to be long enough to reach that framing. With bars installed between these secure anchors, you'll have a barrier that deters intruders.
