As a person who is constantly busy and moving from one activity to another, I understand the struggle to find time to keep a tidy and clean home; however, I have found calm and peace in the midst of a ragged schedule when my spaces are clean and organized. When everything is in its place, your head space frees up to focus on things and people that you love. Not everyone enjoys this, but for me, rejuvenating a space to make it functional and practical for your lifestyle is where it's at. Here at Ruby River, we use our own chemical-free formula to create cleaning products and practices that are sustainable and made with natural ingredients. If you are feeling overwhelmed by certain spaces in your life or just looking for someone to help take something off of your plate, give me a call to schedule a free estimate.

Life can be overwhelming and we all need a little help sometimes. I am an individual provider with a wide array of experience and offered services. Previously, I have worked in my community for a large healthcare conglomerate and have recently decided to strike out on my own. I have been a registered Nurse Assistant and can provide my registration information upon request as well as references. I have Basic Life Support training through the American Red Cross, am working towards Doula Certification through the International Doula Institute, and have training in massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, and skin care . I have worked as a domestic assistant providing housekeeping services as well as childcare. I am also interested in providing home health services for the elderly, disabled, and those recovering from any sort of crisis - health or personal. I've assisted friends with housekeeping, organizing, and completing projects that were simply to overwhelming to try doing alone. Cooking and baking are tasks I enjoy and I would be happy to offer services in meal planning and preparation - we can use your own recipes or I can help with suggestions specific to your taste and dietary requirements. I also enjoy animals and have two cats of my own. I groom my cats regularly by brushing their fur to reduce shedding, trimming their nails, and the occasional bath when their fur appears greasy. I've got experience with pet sitting both dogs and cats as well as house sitting for extended periods of time. Growing up on a farm gave me lots of experience working with plants and trees. I have even volunteered my time and skill with pruning to a local non-profit. I enjoy being outdoors doing lawn care and gardening. My favorite thing to grow is fresh herbs - especially basil to make fresh pesto. This spring, I plan to attempt growing my own tea. Of all my hobbies, my favorite is music. I play piano, guitar, and sing. I would happily share my talents for your entertainment or even start teaching private lessons again. I'm a big believer in reaching out for help so you can have time and ability to enjoy the good things in life. Whether or not you choose me as a service provider, I hope you are able to find the help you need from a courteous, compassionate, and respectful professional. If you are interested in hiring me, please call or text for more information or to set up an appointment!

"I hired her to help me pack and move to a new apartment. She showed on time, and brought some packing supplies. Not only did she pack my breakables carefully in newspaper, she also helped keep my spirits up as I prepared to relocate. I also hired her to handle the move out cleaning, and she did a great job. I even got most of my deposit back. Definitely would recommend this service!"

Home and Garage Organization questions, answered by experts

A garage bump-out is a small addition that extends the size of the garage, usually by just a few feet. Homeowners might install bump-outs to store lawn equipment, sporting gear, holiday decorations, and more. Because you’re not changing the existing garage structure as much, a bump-out isn’t as expensive or labor intensive as a full-blown garage extension. Expect to pay around $1,800–$6,000 for 2-by-10-foot bump-out (and more for larger additions).

Resurfacing a garage floor takes about eight hours on average, with another couple hours over three days to do the epoxy. Epoxy goes on in three coats, with each coat taking 24 hours to dry and cure. You’ll need to keep foot and vehicle traffic off of your garage floor for around 4 days in total when replacing your garage floor, so be sure to plan ahead before you start. This is a great time to organize your garage since you’ll need to move everything out to apply the epoxy.

Removing a garage door costs from $50 to $200, depending on your door’s size and design. To install a new wall, the cost varies depending on the size, material, and additional insulation needed. On average, a new wall costs $25 to $64 per linear foot or $1,000 to $5,000 total, including framing and drywall. Additional insulation costs $0.30 to $6.75 per square foot on average.

When packing up to move, you should consider donating items to charity and purging as many unused or unwanted belongings as possible. It may seem time-consuming, but you’ll thank yourself later when you’ve saved money because you didn’t need the largest moving truck and fewer boxes.

Yes, upgrading a garage can increase home value. Simply having a garage on your property, whether it’s attached or detached, makes your home more valuable. A garage remodel can give you around 80% ROI, though it depends on the type of remodel you do. Converting your garage to a living space can provide significantly higher returns.
