I needed to replace my 1990s tile countertops in my kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Off the three companies that gave me estimates, Integrity Stonework and Cabinet was not the cheapest, but I chose them for the job because, what can I say, Mike was so pleasant to work with. Right off the bat, he was very courteous and helpful. I knew that I wanted solid surface, but couldn?t decide if I wanted granite or quartz. Mike took the time to explain the similarities and differences as well as answering all my questions. The job description on the estimate was clear. Communication was excellent from start to finish. My questions were always answered in a timely manner either via emails or text messages. We had to break down the project into two phases because there was a delay in the shipment of my cooktop. Mike was willing to accommodate our schedule. Because I have two young kids, I told him that I couldn?t afford much kitchen downtime, so he and his crew worked long hours to complete the job on time (I?m not sure if they didn?t take breaks!). Right before the kitchen sink was put in, my husband noticed that it wasn?t the sink that we ordered. Worried that this would delay the project, I said I could live with that sink; however, Mike insisted that we should get what we wanted. He took the slab back to his shop to get recut and bring us the right sink. That level of dedication to customer satisfaction is what really stuck with me. The only thing I wish was done differently was the dust containment. I didn?t realize there would be so much dust. I wish they had put up some kind of tent to keep the dust from flying everywhere. Other than that I think the project went great. My husband and I are pleased with how it turned out. I highly recommend Integrity Stonework & Cabinet. I knew that the project was going to be a bit of a challenge with a bedroom being right above the kitchen. Off the three companies that gave me estimates, LNR Construction was the one that provided the simplest solution that made the most sense. The other two wanted to rip apart my kitchen and charge me an arm and a leg for it. Naturally, I chose LNR Construction. It's a good thing I did as it turned out to be the most positive experience I've had working with contractors. The job description on the estimate was clear. Communication was great. I coordinated primarily with Dick, owner and operator of LNR Construction. On the day of the installation, we discovered additional challenges. Dick approached it with a positive can-do attitude. Because the project involved cutting a floor beam, my husband and I were a bit nervous and kept close watch on the progress. Both my husband and I are engineers, needless to say, we know a thing or two about what is considered structurally sound and what isn't. The installation turned out great. We are please with the way it was done. Dick was very courteous and friendly. He worked hard to make sure that things get done right. I can tell that he loves what he does. I'd definitely use him again for my future home improvement projects. They told us hey were going to bring dehumidifiers and did not. They put fhe furniture on styrofoam and then seemingly proceeded to extract the water. That process took about 20 minutes. They put 3 floor fans in and said they would bring a couple of humidifiers (they never brought the humidifiers). The next morning when I went down there, it was easy to see that they did not extract much of anything. I called them to come back and finish the job as the bedroom and closets were still soaked with water. They came back and spen another 20 minutes down there, then sent us a bill for over $800 after quoting us $575. When I refused to pay the bill, they sent someone down with a meter to detect how much water was still down there. The meter measured anywhere from 61% to 100% over the entire basement. They said they would bring down some floor fans at no charge. That did not happen. I spent the next 3 days witha a small home carpet cleaning machine sucking up the water they did not touch. I took 3 buckets of water out of the bedroom closet alone. After many conversations with the owner, he sent us another bill for $526. Our insurance company paid for it, but I would not have. I would not ever use K&S Carpet Cleaners for anything again."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/nd/valley-city/k-and-s-carpet-cleaners-and-rstrtn-reviews-5770329.htm"},"position":10}]}

The job is still incomplete. Concrete Cowboys was paid $20,000 to start, $20,000 after rafters, and by contract was to get paid $18,500 upon completion. We paid $15,000 of the $18500 because we knew him, thought we could trust him. Wrong!!! Numerous attempts to contact him were unsuccessful....

"This job was completed efficiently and professionally. A design specialist came to test and measure every detail for the project. The crew arrived with everything needed for the job. They worked very hard to install Waterguard in the concrete floors inside around the foundation to the sump pump basket. They also installed Geo-lock anchors to support a block wall that was bowed. This company has 36 years in business and provides excellent results and professional customer relations. Call Amer. Wtrwrks for a free estimate. You will not be disappointed. A wise investment of $11,270."

FAQs for concrete patio work projects in Bloom, ND
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
The average cost of mudjacking is around $5per square foot of concrete, with most concrete leveling jobs totaling between $3 and $8per square foot. The typical cost to fix a sinking portion of concrete slab with mudjacking is around $1,100. The price you’ll pay depends on the size of the concrete slab you need to be leveled, the accessibility of the slab, and the type of material your contractor uses beneath the concrete to lift it back into place.
A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.
Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.
In most cases, no, mudjacking is not possible as a DIY job. Not only do you need specialized equipment to cut into your slab and pump the cementitious material underneath it, but it’s also a challenging process, and the consequences of making mistakes include additional structural damage to your home. It’s possible to rent mudjacking equipment to attempt a DIY repair, but the risk of added property damage usually isn’t worth the money you’ll save on labor, especially if the concrete you’re lifting is a part of your home’s foundation.
The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.
The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.
